Learning study skills is very important for the individual because it helps the individual
achieve their goals and objectives and become successful in life. Good skills help the person to
enhance and improve the confidence, self-esteem and competence. Good skills also help the
individual to overcome the anxiety about the deadline and about the tests. Good skills help the
individual to enhance and improve the capability to learn and retain more knowledge. There are
different kind of skills which are by individual in order to Achieve their goals and objectives.
Furthermore, this report is going to analyze the skills that are required by the individual in order
to become successful at university and also going to discuss why these kind of skills are
important in the workplace. Apart from this, this report also going to give recommendation that
will going to help the students to improve the content of their CVs.

There are several skills which are required by the individual to become successful. These
kind of skills helps them to achieve their goals and objectives and improve their capabilities so
that they can overcome the problems. The skills that are required by individual at university are
below mentioned:
Self-management skills: Self-management skills helps the individual to manage their activities
and also helps them become stick on their decision and on their budget in college. These are the
activities that support them to become more independent and confidence so that they can rely on
someone in order to achieve their goals and objectives. Self-management skills help the
individual to overcome the problems that are facing by them and effectively manage their
activities. Self-management is the skills that helps the individual to focus on the each and every
activity. This skill supports them to improve most of the skills like time management skills,
budgeting and money management skills, critical thinking and many more. Along with this, it
also enhances the interdependent work skills of the individual.

Communication skills: In order to achieve their goals and objective it is very important for the
person to improve their communication skills. Effective communication skills improve the
collaboration and team engagement so that they can become much capable to achieve their goal
and objectives. It very important for the individual to have a capability to communicate with
other people and convey their message in an appropriate manner. It also helps them to focusing
on team engagement and team connection. Furthermore, it also supports them to improve the
presentation skills of the individual. As effective communication plays an important role for the
individual while presenting themselves in front of their team and subordinates. University and
colleges helps their students to just not focusing on writing skills but also helps them to improve
their capability to interact face-to-face with other in an appropriate manner.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills: During the studies, the student will have faced
and going through with so many p-problems. In order to solve that problems and issues it is very
important for the students to think out of the box and identify the solutions of their problems
with the new angles. In order to find out effective solutions for their problems it is very
important for them to improve their critical thinking and problem solving skills. Critical thinking
skills helps the students to bring more innovative ideas and opportunities so that they can achieve
their goals and objectives. Problems solving skills helps the students to solve their problems in
an effective manner so that they become much capable to overcome the risk factor and improve
their capabilities in order to become more successful for their future.
Study and assertiveness skills: There are different kind of schools and colleges students that not
have much and effective developed skills. So in order to improve the study skills, it is very
important for the students to identify how to read and write the books. Along with this, it is very
important for them to take the notes in class and focusing on the lectures. Furthermore, it is also
very important for the students to use the library and take the multiple choices tests because this
kind of activities helps them to improve their study skills and become successful. In context of
assertiveness skills, it is much important for students to speak up for themselves in an effective
and assertive manner. It is very important for the students to take action for themselves but not in
aggressive manner. Because this kind of behavior and attitude allows the other students to take
advantage of you. Assertiveness skills are very important and helpful for the students in context
of study group, team and conflict resolution and many more. As team building and effective

connections with their team helps the students to bring more opportunities and bring more
innovative ideas.
Stress and time Management Skills: In order to become successful at the university and
achieve their goals and objectives it is very important for the students to do regular exercise, take
good nutrition and do meditation. Because these are the activities and actions that helps them to
engage them in a good things and in self-care that helps them to reduce the stress. It also helps
them to find and analyses the effective ways to enhance and increase coping resources that will
going to support them to overcome the stress. Along with this, time management skills are very
important for students in order to complete their task and activity in a particular time frame. In
order to become successful and achieve their goals and task it is become much important for the
students to improve their time management skills.

 It is recommended to the individual that in their CVs use plan and simple English. Apart
from this, it is also recommended to the person to avoid the clichés and jargons so that
they can become capable to improve the content of their CVs.
 It is also recommended to the students and individual to do not forget their keywords and
also include a personal statement. An good and effective personal statements can be so
effective if the person get it right. It is very important for the students keep it short and
highlights on the level of experience and on the strongest skills that makes the CVs more
interesting. Apart from this, it is also important for them highlight their personal and
professional qualities as well.
 In order to improve the content of their CVs, it is very essential for the students to
quantify their achievements and include effective education skills because it helps them
to make the CVs more effective. Apart from this, it is also very important for the

individual add more quantifiable statements and it is also very important for the
individual to assure that their CV is two or more pages in the length.
 It is also advised to the students as well as to the individuals to add a summary to each
and every experience that are achieved by them and it is also very important for the
person always check for grammar, punctuation mistakes and spellings. along with this, it
is very important for them to create different kind of CVs for the different industries
because it permit the person to organize them and explain them in an appropriate manner.
 It is also very essential for the individual to remove references in order to create more
space for experience. In order to enhance and improve the content in CV to remove
references because it will helps them to expand on the work as well as on the educational
experience.

career. There are different skills which are required by the individual and that skills helps them
