INTRODUCTION
Learning styles are basically termed as the ways or approaches that help an individual in
developing their skills and knowledge effectively. It is mainly consist of several methods as well
as practices that is supportive for individual to learn in systematic and best possible manner
(Simpson and Richards, 2015). This topic seems to look highly important in academic well as
professional life because it provides opportunity to learner to develop their skills in timely
manner and attain their longer term as well as short term goals. The main purpose of this essay is
to aware individuals about learning styles and its benefits in their growth. This essay will provide
information of various learning strategies which allows individuals to learn in a best manner. It
will later provide description about study plan that includes long term and short term and long
term goals that will support in academic and professional success.

Discuss different learning strategies that allow individuals to learn best.
Learning style refers to the way according to which students retain information and
perceive it in the required manner. There are mainly four types of learning styles such as visual,
reading/writing, auditory kinesthetic. It can be said that every individual perceives these learning
styles as per their requirements. Moreover learning styles are highly important for every
individual as allows every individual in developing learning as their own comfortable manner.
For instance: Some people find its best to learn through listening, while other people finds it
more easier to learn through observation and other might also feel that they can only develop
learning by performing similar kind of activity in order develop their knowledge on the same.
Based on the article, it has been analysed that learning strategies are of many types which
are perceived by individuals in different manner according to their feasibility. The first strategy
explored from this article is the method of interacting. This strategy simply states that when an
individual interacts which its colleague and respective person who is associated with them then
learns many things. It can be said that interaction allows person in conducting a discussion on
particular topic or area of interest which directly or indirectly makes them aware about different
perception on the same thing (Willingham, Hughes and Dobolyi, 2015). This results in
enhancement of their learning in quicker and best possible manner. In addition to this, it has been
further explored from the presented article that learning mainly arises with the influence of

cognitive and intelligence ability of person that completely relies upon their personality traits. It
can be said that if a person wishes to accomplish their own goals in quicker manner then it
simply states that their learning ability is higher and effective that allows them in accomplishing
their respective goals. Learning styles are not only helpful for students but in fact they are
beneficial for all kind of groups such as teacher, managers, employees and others. From the
overall discussion, it has been identified that learning styles allows person in developing their
skills and knowledge. This is directly supportive for them in attainment of their organisational
goals and objectives. As per the information developed from the article it can be said that paying
attention to the discussion is identified as main the strategy that could be adopted by learner
belonging to any sector in improving the quality of their learning. This is also supportive for
them in attaining academic goals of the learner in quicker manner. In support of this, it can be
later said that when an individual pays attention to the discussion it also allows them to perceive
all the information through their conscious mind (Marsick and Watkins, 2015). This is
supportive for them in the enhancing their knowledge because the developed information
remains with them for longer period of time. In addition to this, another strategy developed from
the respective article is goal setting theory. This simply states that by opting this theory learner
can easily develop right and feasible goal for themselves that will help them out in attaining
success in quicker manner.

so as to undergo professional development as Customer Service
Executive.”
As per the above stated short term goal, it can be said that here learner wishes to improve
their academic skill and gain expertise knowledge. For this, they have planned to read course
work at every day in order to improve their academic writing (Sharples and et. al., 2016). It can
be said that regular based reading will enhance their knowledge this will directly improve their
writing style too as their concept are clearer. In terms of academics, it can be said that short term
goals allows learners in attaining higher scores in their regular based tests. Same is done with the
long term goal. Here, in long term goal individual wants become customer care execute in future
for this it is essential for them develop their communication skill. Development of this skill will
support them in their professional development and further helps them in becoming effective
customer care executive in future. Moreover, usage of these goals allows individual in enhancing
their attaining their objectives in quicker manner that directly contributes in their quicker
professional growth. On the contrary, long term goals allows them developing their knowledge
which will stay with them for longer period of time.

From the above mentioned essay, it is concluded that learning style plays an significant role
in the growth of individual’s academic as well as professional life. It also allows them in
understanding which sort of skill is required to be developed by them in the near future so that
