Study skills play important role in success and career growth of students, especially when
they are taking initiatives to take higher education and studying in well-known university. It
included critical thinking, academic writing, decision-making, effective communication,
searching, evaluation, etc. The current assignment will explain key features of academic writing
and their importance.

gain several advantages in academic context. It refers to process of writing content that are
relevant to the main topic of overall study, which communicates thoughts and ideas of key
information as well as investigation to wider education community. In order to write a report and
info about specific concept by using academic writing skill, students may take 7 important
characteristics into their consideration and these are;
Structure-
The format or structure of any study or written documents may help reader to understand
the content and summary of information, which they may utilize to conduct specific activity
(Ramadan, Wennyta, and Suyadi, 2021). In case of academic writing, it is essential for students
to concentrate on structure of report, which enable them to make their work manageable and
presentative that is important for them to do so. They may focus on beginning of report and at

student may take approach to utilize appropriate, long and understanding sentences, while take
decision to avoid contractions and informal words that may affect reading of readers and their
understanding as well. Academic writing may usually formal which means that in an essay or
report they may take initiative to avoid conversational expression and words. It is quite explicit
and caters reader with overall data that students tend to write. It is in contrast to write and spoke
in less formal form that may rely on listeners or tutors to pass on additional information that
accomplish report. They may concentrate on not using casual or conversational sentences.
Objectives-
It is necessary for students to put emphasis in place on contention and data, instead of
content creator. They may utilize pronoun and nouns as well as phrases more than using adverbs

2021). They may take action to examine information about which they are writing and
conducting research in appropriate as well as systematic manner. It can be said that critical
writing may require a depth and in-detail investigation based on particular subject, for which
different types of methods and techniques are available that may help students to achieve this
aim successfully.

CONCLUSION
By summing up above discussion, it has been summarized that by preparing report in
appropriate structure with relevant evidences, students has gained high scores, which contribute
to set top position in the university. By following the overall concept of academic writing, they
have gained benefit of presenting the best presentation in form of written. Furthermore, from
above analysis, it has been identified that appropriate structure of report has enabled students to
achieve or obtain high scores in their class.
