INTRODUCTION
Study skills for higher eduction is more important and effective for students in order to
become successful in their career. The present report is based on the study skills for higher
education in an effective manner. The report will include different types of learning style and
approaches to learning by involving methods for each individual learner. This also include
different learning strategies which allows individuals to learn best. This also develop a study
plan by including short term and long term goals that can help to students to attain academic and
professional success.
MAIN BODY
Learning style which assist individual to learn best.
Learning styles are defined as the different kinds and ways which the learner can use in
order to educate themselves by using different learning skills and knowledge. This also provide
different types of thinking and skills to students in order to compete in the competitive world by
gaining higher education (Balakrishnan and Gan, 2016). The learning strategies are the different
methods that help to student of higher education uses for becoming successful in their education
system. In the present world where the competition in the study is too high where students have
to change their learning style for more growth in an effective manner. The effective learning is
also necessary because of the reason because of higher business environment is very dynamic
and ever-changing and to manage these changes the students needs to be updated with all the
latest changes in the environment.
Whereas, for managing these changing requirements of the business environment it is
very necessary for the students to adopt the new and best learning styles and for these many
learning strategies which can be adopted by the students (Dorça and et.al., 2016). Here is first
strategy is of learning through the argumentation. This very effective and valuable strategy of
learning. This is an approach in which students learn with the help of argument. This is better
and effective way to learn their course books and get ready for exams with proper revision of
work. This is best because of through that student can learn easily, reason is person can argue
only at that time when they have complete knowledge of the topic and this help to students by
hard learning which things.
Another learning style is learning by doing work (Kirschner, 2017). This is foremost
learning style strategy because practical work is help to student in order to keep work and task in

mind without forgets to that. Therefore, all the skills and knowledge which is learned by student
is more beneficial for students and all the these skills helps the students in learning effectively.
This is one of the best and more effective learning strategy which can helpful for the students in
learn in the better way by covering whole work and task. This technique is that student learns out
of the class or out of the structured learning process. By using this method learning is done in the
informal structure (Willingham, Hughes and Dobolyi, 2015). This type of learning is preferred
because of the reason which with informal teaching the student can retain much information and
can learn in an effective and efficient manner.
Developing study plan to accomplish academic and professional success.
Learning is not enough for the student, they need to get through the exams by completing
higher marks to do hard study (Newton, 2015). This can possible by proper planning for study
that is sets by making effective and best study plan. A study plan is an effective and valuable for
students because this help to students for divide their work and study time properly by managing
their proper time like launch, dinner, home work and learnings. Here is includes some steps
which are need to be followed by students in order to complete their study.
Analysing learning style:
This is the first step which is analysed the learning style suits the most to the learner. This
help to analysis necessary because there are different types of learning which suits to different
peoples in proper manner.
Forming objectives:
The next step is to sets some different types of long terms and short term objectives
(Pritchard, 2017). These objectives help to the person by knowing proper time frame which they
have to achieve this much of learning in proper and effective manner.
Defining study time:
At there, the person need to define the time frame within which person need to set some
deadline that needs to be fulfilled by person.
Prioritizing goals:
This is also a major step because the student needs to analyse which part of the study is
more important in comparison with the others (Truong, 2016).
Implementation:
At there, students are ready to implement all the strategy to learn in an effective manner.
