INTRODUCTION
It is essential for student to have effective and efficient reading capabilities in order to
successfully and significantly perform academic practices. In university student have to do
various projects and assessment that required lots of reading. So it is crucial that student have
effective reading skill in order to carry out academic practices in better manner. It is important
for student to focus on the quality of project in order to accomplish higher grades as well as
correctly complete academic project (Cottrell, 2019). This report includes different strategies
that are needed to improve reading ability of the student. Apart from these different suggestions
to help student to improve the quality of their written project is also determined.
MAIN BODY
Discuss some strategies that students can use to improve their reading ability.
Reading ability can be describe as the skills and potential of individual to read, comprehend
and interpret written words in significant manner. This is consider as one of the essential skills
that should be with in the student. This skill of a student is very supportive in carry out different
academic practices and task in more effective way as well as help in achieving desired objective.
Through significant reading skill or ability student is able to assimilate a written work or words
in short period of time while reading it as well as gaining significant knowledge and
understanding. It is crucial for a individual to develop or enhance reading abilities as this is a
lifelong activities and high reading abilities will help in gathering information form written
words or articles in less time frame. It is essential for student to develop or create effective
strategies that will assist in improving their capabilities to ready the text or gather meaning for
written page or article (Assiter, 2017). There are different strategies that are supportive in
developing reading ability which are mention below in detail –
Improve vocabulary – Vocabulary is very important to gain better understanding about
the written word. Students needs to have proper understanding what the words you are
perusing mean can improve your capacity to appreciate the importance of the content.

important and significant for a student to have proper preparation while performing the
project (Khan and et.al., 2020). Preparation will assist in successfully carry out the
activities of the written project and carry out all practices accurately. Effective and high
quality preparation will lead to assist in improving the overall quality of the written
project.
Consider examples – Student can use the previous examples in order to improve the
overall performance or quality of the project. This will help in improving the capability
of student to conduct the project activities in effective and efficient manner.
Consideration of examples will lead to provide guidance and direction to the student
about how to do the project as well as how they can increase the quality of written
project. It is suggested to student to consider examples as well as take help form it in
order to increase overall performance and potential to perform the written project task.

information provided in the written project. Through this overall quality of the project
will be directly enhanced and it will assist student to present the information written in
the project in successful manner.
Use correct words and language – It is important that student is considering or using
correct words or language while conducting the written project (Heron, 2019). It is
suggested to student to consider right and appropriate words which is accurate as per the
needs of written project. Through this individual student is able to perform the practices
in successful manner as well as able to accomplish desired goals and objectives. Correct
words and language in written project is needed in order to improve its quality of
performance as well as help other to understand correct meaning.

From the above report it has been concluded that reading is one of the crucial ability that
needs to be within a student. This capability of a student is very supportive in attaining higher
grades as well as attaining desired goals. Reading is a lifelong activity for a person and by
developing strong and effective reading potential a person is able to gather accurate meaning
form the page of written words in less time. It is crucial for student to increase the quality of
written project as it will assist in gaining better grades. There are different projects that needs to
be performed by the student and improvement in the quality of written project will support in
successful performance of student.
