Introduction
The study skills are basically considered as study strategies and academic skills which
support the students to gain competitive advantage in professional career. It generally includes
the array of transferable life skills that enable the students to improve their academic skills and
knowledge in proper manner. This essay will describe the selected four suggestions related to
boosting effectiveness of CV without gaining experience. In relation to this, it will also explain
my personal experience for making CV.

Question-1: Choosing the above four listed suggestions for developing creative CV
The high competition in the job market is seen due to the recent pandemic situation. In
order to tackle with this the employer are constantly searching for graduates who have suitable
work experience and are cutting the new graduate recruitment(Cottrell, 2020). The below listed
are suggestions through which the new graduate student can effectively attract the attention of
recruiters by making their CV more attractive and appealing. These are: Starting with skills
audit: The skills audit can help to gain insight about my existing skills and knowledge. It can
support the student to know in which skills they are good as well as what are the skills in which
they are lacking. Through undergoing skills audit sessions, the fresh graduate students can take
necessary steps to improve their skills and knowledge by taking into consideration reliable
training sessions. This can support the student to analyse their strengths and can show to the
recruiters that they have required skills set for performing that business job in proper manner.
Moreover, the student can also enhance their low value skills by taking online classes(Davies,
2022).
Getting experience online: In order to gain favourable response from recruiters, the
student can undertake virtual internships or can also take remote working experience by
registering on online job websites or portals (Villarreal and Martinez, 2018). The student can
also search the number of universities who arrange internship sessions for fresh graduates. In
addition to this, the students can also find some recruiters who are committed to help students in
getting suitable experience level by just working from home for completing real life projects.
This step can benefit the students to show experience certificate to their potential employers and

thus may increase the chance for getting good job. Connecting with peers: The student for
improving the chance of getting employed must try to make stronger network of people related
to field of job in which they are going to apply. The student can follow the industry expert of
their field from the social media platform LinkedIn. By using this platform, the student can form
their network by following them and take online guidance about how to gain job in proper
manner. Apart from this, the student can also gain their industry knowledge by joining chat
rooms as well as holding virtual coffee breaks. These steps can allow the students to gain better
image among recruiting companies which may directly enhance their chances of getting job in
reputed organisations(Mason, 2019).
Focus on skills over setting: In order to achieve overall growth and development, the
student should also take proper participations in the different type of voluntary works that can be
related with number of events like environmental protection event. The student can improve their
communicational and problem solving skills by participating into fundraising events directed
towards increasing wellness of society members. In addition to this, the student may also connect
with the society of their university which can be great opportunity for developing soft skills(Sera
and McPherson, 2019). Thus, this can enable students to show their participating certificate in
number of voluntary events that can boost their reputation among the employers present in
market.
Question-2: Describing the personal experience of making CV
After taking the above suggestions for improving CV into consideration, I can say that I
am happy with this type of CV as it will support me to gain positive reactions from future
employers present in the job market. The CV that I have made has full description about my
strengths and the knowledge that I have gathered from taking online skill training classes. In
addition to this, the CV is also made in the immersive as well as creative way through which my
recruiters can easily insight about my capabilities in most appropriate manner. I am satisfied
with my CV as it has been made by me after properly practising my skill audit. This has enabled
me to know what are my skills that can help me in getting better job opportunities.
Moreover, in this CV I have also mentioned the experience that I have acquired from
engaging in virtual internships offered by many companies in online mode. This allows me to
mention the internship certification in the area of work experience. In my CV, the relevant
certification as well as licenses are also reflected that can assist me in gaining larger number of

offers from the big companies. It can also enable me to receive job without having much
difficulty in process. Furthermore, the CV which I have designed also covers the
recommendation area which describes the positive view of famous industry experts about the
performance that I have done on my internships. This can represent positive remark of my
performance to my employer. This makes me happy as I can get job easily if I show the
recruiters the good work and performance I have made in my internship activities.
In the CV, I have also shown the voluntary activities in which I have participated for a
specific social cause. I am happy that these type of activities will positively impact the behaviour
of recruiters about me. It will support me to become apart from the competition as there are only
few number of candidates who engage in doing voluntary tasks without charging any kind of
fees in return. Thus, it can be analysed that I have gained positive experience from developing
my CV as I have made proper resume which covers my critical skills, experience details,
hobbies, educational details and voluntary activities.
Conclusion
It was analysed that study skills are critical for students to acquire with an objective of
improving chances of getting a good job in professional world. This essay has described the four
suggestions that can result into good CV making. In addition to this, the essay has also evaluated
that I have gained positive experience while developing CV.

development of professional skills can become critical for student if he wants to join a reputed
company with better pay opportunities. Moreover, it also enable the students to gain reputable

develop while studying in university. Furthermore, it will also discuss the importance of these

skills in effective manner. The one of the skills which the student develop is the problem solving
skills, this type of skill will be helpful for students to control the situation that may get out of
hand. It also enables the student to provide better solution to the problems that they identify in
their day to day lives(Heustis and et.al., 2019). The students develop this skill by attending in
different class activities such as by participating into quiz activities, group discussion program
and real life case studies at university level. These activities allow the students to understand and
provide redressal of the problems identifies in the course of different university activities and
programs. The other skill which student can improve on their university days is Creative
thinking skills, these type of skills can be critical for students in expanding the idea of
imagination. The development of the creative thinking skills can allow student to find the
solution of problems in the most critical manner(Lin and Magnuson, 2018). It can also enable the
student to gain information about world in better way. The student develop critical thinking skills

by participating in the group activities and can also improve by engaging in making creative
university projects.
The next skill which the student develop in their university level is Teamwork, this is the
essential skill that is required in every stage of career. The working in teams are important for
achieving success without putting much efforts(Beagon, Niall and Ní Fhloinn, 2019). The
student develop the teamwork skills by taking active participation in the team work related
activities organised by the university. In addition to this, the student can also improve team
working skills by engaging into group related activities and perform the given task in the most
effective manner. Moreover, the student can also upgrade their team working skills by entering
into different class related programs. The other skills that students can improve is Intra-personal
skills, these type of skill can allow the students to gain better understanding about their-self,
about emotional intelligence, thoughts as well as opinions. It can also allow students to take
proper stand with the decisions made for solving the particular issues. The student develop the
interpersonal skills by practising the active listening when communicating with their teachers as
well as class members. This support the student to understand what other person is thinking by
judging their physical signs and expressions.
The other crucial skills that student develop in their university is communication skills,
the development of this skill is indispensable for the student not only in their professional career
but also in spending the day to day lives in proper way. It can allow the students to gain better
relations with their class member and the professors(Flinkman and Wilson, 2020). The student
develop this skill by engaging into conversations with class members and by participating into
group discussion activities. The next critical skill is Leadership skill, the improvement of
leadership skill enables the student to become good and impactful leaders in their future
professional career. In relation to this, the leadership skill can help student to lead the group of
members in the most effective manner. The student develops leadership skills by grabbing
opportunities like leading class election or becoming the student union president can result into
higher leadership skills. The other type of skill that student improve in their university level is
positive attitude, the development of positive attitude allows the student to solve complex
problems without feeling the failure or loss. The positive attitude can be honed by considering
some key areas like high energy, confident, respectful or sense of humour. The student improve

this skill by maintaining the positive relations with class members along with making friendly
atmosphere with everyone.
The other type of skill which student develops is time management skill, the
management of time is very important in order to save time for doing activities that are more
urgent and crucial for success. The student can develop this type of skill by doing the class work
tasks within the set deadlines. In relation to this, the student can also improve its skill by giving
exams within specific time limit(Sokhanvar, Salehi and Sokhanvar, 2021).
Importance of above skills in workplace
The development of professional skills at university can allow the students to give their
best output when entering in the respective job roles. The problem solving skill is recognised as
important skill for providing effective solutions to the complex problems. The student can apply
their problem solving skills in their workplace area by giving appropriate solutions to the
business problems in the most appropriate manner. It can also help the student to control the
situations that are generally out of hand. This can also assist the student to attract the favourable
response from the leaders by giving perfect solution for issues. Apart from this, the creative
thinking skills is also crucial for students in their workplace. The improvement of this type of
skill can enable the students to find creative and faster solutions to the problems that can occur in
their workplace area. In addition to this, it can also support students to give appropriate ideas and
opinion in the day to day workplace meetings. This can benefit the students to achieve high
position in corporate ladder(Baker and et.al., 2019).
The team work skills are also identified as critical skills that can support the student to
work properly with other team members while following proper ethical standards and morale
values. The student can apply this skill in their respective workplace by engaging with other
team members at the best manner. This can help students to give best performance and attain the
objectives of team within the specified deadline. The Intra-personal skills are also defined as
important skill that can be used in workplace for the purpose of building relations with the co-
members and with the managers(Lansdell, Marx and Mohammadali-Haji, 2020). The knowledge
of intra-personal skill can allow students in becoming better leaders as the student will know
about themselves and also help them to take stands in many decisions or ideas. It will also
support student to understand the feeling of company individuals in appropriate manner.

The other skill which is very important for student to use in their respective workplace is
communication skills. These type of skill can allow them to make better and positive relations
with the leaders and other co-members. The communication skills is crucial for students as
without this the business task cannot be completed at all(Karupu, Oleshko and Pakhnenko,
2021). The development of communication skills enable students to give effective decisions by
taking into approval from other staff members. The next skill that can assist students in their
workplace is Leadership skills, the improvement of this skill can support students to become an
effective leader by managing the large group of people. The leadership skills can enable students
to gain higher position in company with competitive pay and higher success rate. It can also
allow students in becoming more competitive and confident to complete work activities in proper
manner.
The next type of skill that student can apply in their workplace is positive attitude, this
type of skill is important for the student to develop as the positive attitude can allow students to
make the environment of work more friendly as well as more positive(Bhagra and Sharma,
2018). The other critical skills that can support student to give better performance in workplace
area is time management skills, the development of this skill can benefit the student to finish
their job activities within the given time or deadline. Moreover, it can support the student to
finish the work which is more urgent as well as important for achieving the success in the most
appropriate manner(Farhodovna, 2021).

critical for success in professional world as it allows the student to gain favourable response
from the recruiters. It was also evaluated that student can develop the varieties of skill set by
taking active participation in the university activities or programs. It was also analysed that the
student must improve the professional skills for the purpose of attaining higher position in most
