In individual life, growth and success play important role as they help in achieving goals and
objectives. Reading abilities are crucial which are needed to be improved at higher scale (Beach,
2018). Further, these reading skills are required at all level without which it is not possible for
individual to communicate appropriately. To improve skills or knowledge strategies are needed
which leads to better improvement. In this competitive era, it is crucial to be unique and different

Explain strategies for students to improve their reading ability
Reading ability are essential for every student on basis of which they are able to improves
their brain thinking and connectivity to communicate in proper manner. Also, with help of reading
ability, it motivated & increases self confidence of people in education sector. There are various
types of reading techniques which are used by students such as extensive, intensive, skimming eyes
and scanning are some of techniques which are used by students. There are various types of
strategies which are described below-
Participating in library reading programs- In universities and schools, most of libraries
conduct programs for students during vacations or free time. So, it is to be considered as effective
strategies which can used by students to improve their reading ability. For example- library staff
might organise events such as debate competition on some books for students. Thus, accessing to
these programmes are crucial as they help in increasing confidence level of student in education
(Clarke, 2019).
Exploring different forms of reading material- It is another strategy which can be also
used in which students can access to different reading materials on basis of which through reading
to those materials improves their way of communication. Thus, it is advised to students to use this
strategies effectively. For example- materials like e-books in form of CD, digital recording forms
tape can be used by students to develop their abilities. These different forms of material leads to
enhancing of individual knowledge at wider approach.
Re-read to build fluency- It is also effective strategy which can be used by students to
improve their reading ability or skills. In this, students need to read again and again which assist
them in improving their fluency level of specking. Also, it is seen that re-reading clear the mindset
of student & that help in connecting brain with words. It is necessary for students to have fluent
communication so that they are able to read in continuous level without any interruption or
stammering. Re-reading of same materials leads to enhancing the fluency level of students.
Importance of reading ability
Reading abilities are important on basis of students are able to develop their mindset &
create a new imagination. It also help in vocabulary & spelling communication in both form of
written and spoken way of communication. In this today's society, these are essentially required so
that ideas, information are communicated properly. Moreover, it took time to improve them as not
every one is quick learner.

of growth as well as success. According to given article, it is advised to students they should focus
on their knowledge and growth. Basically there are various types of reading skills like fluency,
vocabulary, decoding, reasoning and background knowledge, working memory attention etc. These
are to be used by students within their reading to deliver better communication (Geertsen, 2016).

Projects are crucial for students on basis of which it assist them in developing &
improving their KSB'S at wider scale. Written projects are important as they help in developing
their learning & assist them in improving their access of learning in different format. Written
projects in colleges as well as universities are important & are flexible in nature such as they can be
in form of individual, group or team work. Written projects are given by teachers on different
subjects or topic (Hamrin, 2016. These are then completed by students to complete them within a
given period of time. Teachers analyse & examine the work quality on basis of which marks &
appraisal is given to students. Written projects can be both fore short or long period. So, there are
various types of suggestions that can be accessed by students through which they can improve
quality of their written assignments projects and are discussed below-
Front load efforts- It is advised to students that they need to invest time in designing of
projects, assignments so that it catches the eye of reader or teachers. Also, through properly
improving designing of assignments help students in understanding write kind of paper which is
asked by teachers. Through properly structured of paper & assignments it is easy to enhance the
quality of projects. Front Load efforts are are required to be done so that projects made by students
made a first impression on teachers or readers. Designing might includes project structure , such a
abstract, table of content, discussions and analysis, etc. These components of projects are needed to
carried out in systematic manner so that designing is done properly.
Set high standards & effective communication between teachers & students- To
improve quality of projects, it is a advised to students they need to enhance their set expectations
and also effective communication is needed to be carried out so that students complete their

assignment and work accordingly. Through effective communication, it is easy to improve quality
of written assignments. Through carrying out proper way communication, work criteria &
expectation of teachers are well defined. Also, setting of standards of projects leads to improving
quality of projects at higher scale. Communication can be done effectively by asking queries, using
of appropriate mode of tools & techniques, etc.
Generate more new ideas- It is another way through which students can improve their
quality of written assignments. Moreover, by properly generating new ideas it is easy to use
appropriate words and content in written assignments. In written projects, it is essential to focus on
new ideas so that correct contents are being used in projects. In these written assignments, it is
necessary for students to be aware about new concepts about field or subject so that ideas are easily
generated (Liu, 2019).
Avoid plagiarism- It is often seen that written projects information are mostly gained
through use of internet, secondary source such as books, magazine, etc. It is suggested to students
they should when gaining information, they should use use their own content and avoid plagiarism.
Moreover, by using fresh content quality of written projects get improved. It is necessary to avoid
plagiarism so that it does not affects work or assignment (Manning, 2018).
From above explained matter, it is analysed that it is essential for students to improve work
as well as project quality so that it become easy for them to access to their improved skills or
knowledge. Furthermore, suggestions has been made which will help them to increasing their work
effectiveness as well as quality of projects. With considering of these suggestions, makes it easier
for respective students to deliver better quality of projects to teachers.

After a brief analysis of above report, it has bee concluded that it is crucial to for students to
access their study skills so that they are able to read and communicate properly without facing any
issue or problem. So, discussions have been made about strategies for improving reading ability &
suggestions. In education sector, it is necessary to have developed skills on basis of which it is easy
to achieve objectives in proper manner. It is essential be aware about self skills as well as
knowledge so that mind set of students are clear about their strength & weakness. Students &
teachers both need to understand each other's level of expectation so that objectives are achieved
accordingly. Furthermore, it is crucial for them to continue learning so that skills are developed
appropriately.
