Main Body
Evaluate the suggestions made in the article on time management.
Time management plays an eminent role in not only in an enterprise but also in the common or
personal life of all persons. Thus, everyone should do management of time if they want to attain
success in their lives. Time management includes the following elements:
Effective planning: This includes planning of the work in advance in the starting of the day. The
activities should be selected by its priority (Sasson, 2019).
Setting goals and objectives: This is important to set some specific aims and target before
starting the time management of any activity. Without the actual goal and objective, the outcome
cannot be tested or determined. Thus, for knowing or evaluating the result, it is eminent to frame
particular aims and objectives.
The delegation of responsibilities: According to this element, an employee should not do all the
work on its own. He or she needs to delegate the work to other employees and focus on some
other task that is more important in comparison to that. But this is to be noted that the roles and
responsibilities should be given as per the need and expertise of a person so that the work can be
finished before the deadline.
Setting deadlines: An individual should set the deadline of the work by its own and try to follow
the same. The work should be submitted before asking the senior to make them happy and
satisfied (Ho, 2018).
Prioritising activities according to their significance: This is very important to prioritise the
tasks according to its urgency and significance. Thus, it should be determined that which task
should be completed in a single day and which should be finished within a month or year. The
task that is having the highest priority should be completed earlier.
Spending the right time on the correct activity: It is to be noted that the right time should be
spent on completing correct work so that no other important activity remains uncompleted.

Beside this, for doing proper time management, it is essential to be organised, focussed and do
not misuse the time. If everything remains organised, then time will not get consumed in
searching for any file. After that concentration is important since if any work is being carried on
with full concentration, then no issues would arise and the work gets accomplished properly. An
individual should put a timer to finish the task as soon as possible.

Which do you agree with and which do you disagree with? Justify your position.
By the study, it can be said that for managing the time, the effective planning, setting deadlines,
prioritising activities as per their importance, being focussed and organised is the correct tool.
These tools will help in doing proper time management. For example, by doing effective
planning, one can plan what should be completed in a day and after that soon. On another side,
by setting the deadlines, it becomes easy to understand which activity should be finished in a
specific time (Griffin, 2013). Beside this, it is also important to prioritise the activities since this
gives the idea of which activity should be finished earlier about others. It is also necessary to be
focussed and organised since if everything is put in an organised manner, the concentration will
not break, and the work will be finished easily without any difficulty. On another side, there are
some other tools like delegating work, spend right time on the right activity, setting goals and
objectives, misusing time, etc. are not so much important since time management can also be
done without following these instructions (Rapp, Bachrach and Rapp, 2013). For example, the
delegation of work should not be done as this can go on the wrong hand and due to that whole
work get negatively impacted. Besides this, the right time will be spending on correct activity
also by prioritising the work.

Are there any other suggestions you would like to make?
Some other suggestions can make time management easier. This can be understood by
examining the next points. Work should be done within a team to complete that before the
deadline. The result of the task will also not get affected since more than one people are getting
engaged in doing similar work (Amin and Karim, 2013). Team working will also give creative
and impressive outcome as innovative ideas can be given by any team member who can make
the whole work very simple. On another side, training should be given to the employees who
have newly joined the workplace so that they can understand how to finish the work before the
deadline. At the same time, the entire team member should be motivated regarding
accomplishing the work by giving those rewards and other benefits.
