INTRODUCTION

Parent substance misuse is undertaken as the longer term misuse of drugs as well as

Outline of the methodology
In this research, secondary method will be used for collecting both qualitative and
quantitative data about the implications of parental substance misuse on young children and
identifying the best practices in social work to improve lives of the people. Inductive approach
will be followed for evaluating secondary information about the existing topic. Interpretivism
philosophy will be followed for gathering and evaluating secondary information about the topic.
Structure of the dissertation
There are different chapters that helps the researcher in completing full dissertation
successfully. These chapter are;
Chapter 1: Introduction: It is considered as the first chapter of the whole research that mainly
covers research aim, objectives and questions. This helps in defining about the topic on which
the research is conducted.
Chapter 2: Literature Review: It is considered as the second chapter of the present dissertation
and helps in gathering secondary information in a summarised manner. Secondary information is
collected by various sources such as articles, journals, newspapers, books and many more.
Chapter 3: Research Methodology: This is regarded as the most important chapter in the whole
dissertation and quantitative research method is used for collecting and interpreting numerical
data in an effective and accurate way.
Chapter 4: Data analysis: Data analysis is the most necessary chapter on which the whole
research is based and helps in carrying it the quantitative data in an effective manner. In this
research frequency distribution method is used for deriving high quality information about the
topic.
Chapter 5: Conclusion and Recommendation: This is considered as the last chapter of the
