2CONTEMPORARY PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Introduction
A quality management plan can be defined as a component in a project management
plan which has the ability to describe the applicable procedures, policies and guidelines
which can be implemented within a project for achieving quality objectives. All the activities
that are described within a quality management plan according to the necessary resources for
the project management makes the team understand the objectives of all the tasks related to
the project and the quality of those task that needs to be set for the project. For the suburban
home project as well, quality management plan needs to be formulate which neither can be
formal or informal, broadly framed or detailed in nature. It should be reviewed early for the
project to make sure that all the decisions have been forming a base on the accurate
information gathered. A sharp focus to the value proposition of the project is included as a
result of the quality management plan and these are mostly over run with the less frequent
schedule for re working on the processes.
Background of the project
The suburban home construction project was based on purchasing new homes for a
single large investment where a person can purchase a home idea from a reputed real estate
building company or a construction company can manage the entire home with the utilisation
of project management principle. The latter approach was more acceptable since over a
lifetime mortgage of about 30 years satisfying experiences can be provided to the consumers
are customers. The management of the entire project single-handedly with the utilisation of
project management principle was a much more feasible approach and the new project
manager Adam Smith believed that all the managing of the projects as well as the tools and
techniques utilised for this project would make it a huge success. It is advised that the best

way to approach any project management is through applying the contemporary approach to
project quality management. There are many factors that influence the quality and the
contribution of a project must together to enhance the quality management of the works
embedded within a project management. This understanding makes a project manager utilise
the thought of performing a project quality management and all the necessary work
surrounding it which ensure that the deliverables of a project at satisfying to their intended
purpose.
The quality management plan
Every contractor makes a commitment of having a high standard quality within the
construction while the page their services to the customers. However there are many clients
who find themselves in a position of negotiating with the issues with the warranties after the
project is completed. This is because it may be found that in some place between designing
and delivering the quality of the entire project became lesser than what was expected. quality
management within a project should be coordinated with all the diverse group within a
project team who are working together to find a single result which in this case is developing
a quality construction for the suburban home projects to make sure that there are no
complaints from the customers residing within them. It can occur that the design that is first
put up with for the construction plan is not meeting its requirements due to poor engineering
techniques. Therefore attaining a super quality in building construction needs to be
accomplished for every step of the project which is why a total project quality management
plan needs to be developed for the suburban home projects.

Major procedures relevant for the project for dealing with non-conformance,
corrective actions procedures, and continuous improvement procedures
Construction quality management is based on having a total quality of all the
processes controlled within the job site which shows that every part of the project
management is up to date and safe for the users. There are several ways by which there can
be obligations in maintaining quality standards within the project management process and
this is why the project needs to deal with these procedures which are relevant for managing
the quality of the project.
Non-conformance: A non conformance report or NCR is a document which needs to
be addressed to identify the quality of auditing and reviewing other processes within a
construction project. This report mainly focuses on making the appropriate action regarding
construction project when any problem arises. having a non conformance report document
generated for a project quality management make sure that the construction project has an
defensible, unambiguous, clear and concise definition of all the problems that is initiated
through the management process.
Corrective actions procedures: Corrective action on the other hand in a project
management process is a part of quality management which rectifies the process task or even
the behaviour of a person within a construction management project where these factors can
make any error or has the potential of debating from an already intending plan. On the basis
of that the corrective actions can be implemented within the system to make sure those
improvements to the organisation and the construction project is made based on all the
previous error to eliminate the effects that these undesirable acts have put forward.

Continuous improvement procedures: Utilising the non conformance report and the
corrective action procedures, a continuous improvement plan and procedure is what a
construction company should taken as a better implementation of all the corrective measures
that would be utilised at every step for the construction process to make it free of any errors
occurring. Continuous improvement is the procedure where all the previous errors are
detected and then eliminated from the entire system through proper procedures utilised. The
department of every error is identified and based on that people are diploid or decisions are
made to make sure what procedures would be feasible to eliminate the error from the system.
Information required for completing the plan
The information that is required for completing the entire plan according to the
construction project of suburban home is the generated business information that provides an
insight for how the project has been progressing including all the information regarding the
staff, their work and the amount of money spent for the entire project. The generated
information is then compared to the estimated outcome generated throughout the construction
project and based on that decisions are taken to make sure which of these processes are
falling behind quality or which are exceeding quality. The ones that are falling behind are
latter utilise to enhance the quality for the by eliminating all the errors that have occurred so
far as the information has depicted.
How quality management would satisfy the stakeholders
The major stakeholders of the suburban home construction project are the people
involved within the project, the project managers, the project directors, the finances and
mostly the customers who would be staying within the suburban home projects. If the quality
of the project is enhanced, it will obviously make sure that the construction project is

developed at the highest quality possible and all the project progression is based on the
utilisation of the best project management principle. As a result there would be appropriate
usage of company resources and funding without any wastage. Thus, the low amount of
utilisation of company resources and findings providing the best quality of services to the
customers would satisfy all the stakeholders of the suburban home construction projects.
4 quality objectives associated with the project
The quality objectives is the main method that is used by construction organisation to
make sure that the project management process is focusing on the goal as well as the quality
policy to make sure that there are plants of improvement. The main quality objectives
associated with the project are as follows:
Utilisation of strategic and innovative principal to accept variation and agility
within the project
Quality product is to be manufactured and services provided would meet the
specification to ensure customer needs are met
Quality control is achieved through proper inspection
Initiation, execution, planning regulation and closer is followed in the most
simple way possible providing enhanced quality

Conclusion
Therefore the above report is based upon the quality management plan for the
suburban home construction projects which is based upon purchasing new homes for a
person. The construction company is mostly focused on providing quality work as the
constructed housing society. The utilisation of a quality management plan and its advantages
to the entire project is described in details as above. This includes the background of the
project with the quality management plan and the major procedures that are relevant for
dealing with the project. These procedures include the non conformance report for NCR, the
corrective action procedures and the continuous improvement procedures. The information
required for completing the plan is finalized and it is also discussed about how the quality
management plan would satisfy all the stakeholders involved in the project. The report also
identifies the four quality objectives associated with the projects and the ways by which tools
