INTRODUCTION
Success is considered as major aspect which measures achievement of an individual in
the life. It should be main target of a candidate to achieve success in the academic as well as
career life to become more competent (Burger, and Naudé, 2019). The team work is also
considered as key approach in management of a task or an activity in a precise manner. In my
views, team management is a major approach which helps a candidate to overcome key
challenges and issues in a particular task. The reflection is also considered as a major practice
which helps an individual to develop knowledge and experience of something learned. This
project will also include key dimensions of success in the academic as well as professional life.

The group presentation is a major way of learning new things and presenting them in the
classroom. Our presentation was based on the way to ensure success of an individual and its key
aspects. In our presentation, the success is defined for oneself that measures up to no one. In
order to lead the competition, one must cover key aspects of success that are accomplishment
and progress of career. In our presentation, we gave example of Oprah who started at the age of
23 and she was fired from her first job which is related to broadcasting. After getting fired from
the job, she did not stop and tried hard to gain the success. In the presentation we demonstrated
what is success and what are the major factors that contributes to success of a student. In our
presentation we learned that success is something that can be described as difference to one's life
and the world. We also learned about inspiration which play an important role in success of a
student (Burke, Cheng, and Susarla, 2019). The myth “one is never too old to get success” was
clear in our learnings with the help of presentation. In our presentation, the fact was also
analysed that women are more into success as a balance and relationship as compared to men.
The interesting part of the presentation was personally defining the success and definition of
success and its impact on life. The presentation also involved the way success looks like, which
helped us to explore key dimensions of success. Success is considered as overloading work and
the views says that the success is not easy in any sense. We learned that, success is hard to
achieve due to presence of various obstacles and hurdles. In order to deal with the obstacles and
issues it is essential for the candidate to have positive and clear mind. The determination is also
one of the key elements which should be taken into consideration for achievement of success.
In our presentation, we also find out a roadmap to success which is considered as a major
pathway in success. The success defines the way we started from the bottom and where we stand
today. We discovered with the support of presentation that how we can move forward and
achieve key goals and objectives of our life. I also learned that a candidate should not look into
the failure, he must move ahead in life with the help and support of roadmap. The presentation

also taught us how to achieve success in the academic life as a whole. If the personal definition
of success is developed then it includes accomplishment, achievement of goals, positive
outcomes, success is attained to be about perception and desirable goals. The commitment to
academic study, focus on relationships and defining the goals and objectives are key major
parameters of getting and achieving the success (Dietrich, and Latzko, 2020). A student must
define their choices prior to their studies and develop innovative ideas of success. According to
Vincent Tinto, the approach which makes student leave the education should be deeply studied
by the students. The setting target approach should be also considered by students and goals and
objectives should be achieved with the help of planning and strategic framework. In the
Academic life of a student, it is recommended for the students to focus on making connections
with the environment. We also gained knowledge related to roadmap of success and that is very
much complex. We attained knowledge that success is all about moving forward and developing
a roadmap for its achievement. The experience should considered as key approach which helps a
student to develop key ways of succeeding. We learned that time management is the most
important for a student which helps in success and achievement of key goals and objectives. In
our presentation we learned five key points, that a person should be committed to academic
studies, recognise that relationship matters, defining the goals for life, make connections and
manage the time. The time management is the most beneficial approach which is beneficial in
increasing success criterion of the student. Managing the time should be developed by allocating
time schedule for each and every activity (Espinoza-Herold, and González-Carriedo, 2017). We
also discovered that, student success is thoroughly defined as academic achievement,
engagement through educational activities, satisfaction, acquisition of desirable knowledge
including skills alongside with competencies, persistence, attainment of educational outcome of
needs and post-college performance”. With the help and support of presentation, we got to know
that there are six major components of success that are academic achievement, satisfaction, skills
and competencies, persistence, learning objectives and career success.
The major goals and objectives in life of a student are achieved with the help of time
management. In the team working also, Fathima who was our team leader told us about the
significance of time management. The academic success and its measurement are two important
tasks of a student which should be performed with ethics and integrity to create better
development approach. In our presentation, we gained knowledge that success through students'

academic success has also been through the help of academic resilience. The academic success is
also attained through measuring GPA and grades along with evaluating key measures that are
obtainable in institutions.

It is important for a student in the academic life to focus on certain things and elements
which are important for growth. I am also focusing on different areas of growth in order to
develop key approach in the academics. The following are key skills and areas which should be
developed by me:
Communication skills- I must focus on developing communication skills which are
required to communicate with each other in the classroom. Communication skills will
also help me to establish communication with teachers and professors.
Team management skills- I will focus on analysing and developing team management
skills in order to manage assignments and projects given in our assignment (Gueldner,
Feuerborn, and Merrell, 2020). The team management skills should be developed by me
in a professional manner
Decision making- I also need to work on decision making skills in order to make
decisions in critical situations. The decision making skills will be helpful for me in
management of different situations which arise during my academics.
Time management- It is also essential for me to learn time management skill which
will help me to complete all my academic tasks on time. This skill will help me to
analyse priority tasks which should be completed first to mitigate work burden.
Problem solving- This is one of the most essential academic skill which helps to
analyse the problem and mitigate in such a manner so that it will not occur again. It is
essential for me to learn this skill so that I can solve all my academic issues
appropriately to live a successful life.
Critical thinking- This skill will help me to develop my thinking power. This will help
to mitigate the issue in new and unique manner (Hepworth, Littlepage, and Hancock,
2018). I must work on this skill so that I will develop my personality.

ICT skills- These skills are those skills which can help me to understand computer
programming and software to operate computer functioning appropriately (Kertechian,
2018). Today, almost all offices are working with digital technology and hence, this is
one of the most essential skill for me to maintain my professional career.
