The Six Sigma programs refer to a disciplined approach and the methodology for the
continuous improvement within an organization. These programs are generally based on the
statistical data and are driven by the various amounts of data that are made available to the
concerned management. The Six Sigma methods are generally used in the elimination of the
defects that might be present within a certain process within the organization, the products
extended by the organization, or even the services that are undertaken by the given organization
(Altintas, Erginel & Kucuk, 2016). The approach finds employment in the matters that pertain to
the manufacturing of the product or the service and even in the areas that are related to the
transactional area of the product or the service. The following essay deals with the review of an
article that deal with the relationship that exists within the performance of the Six Sigma projects
and the critical success factors within the project. The article also attempts a discussion on the
matters that pertain to the interrelationship that exists among the several critical success factors
that are related to the Six Sigma activities within the organization.
Marzagão and Carvalho (2016) in the article entitled “Critical success factors for Six
Sigma projects” discusses the factors that are related to the relationship that exists within the
performance of the Six Sigma projects and the critical success factors within the project. The
authors of the study attempt a discussion in the matters that are related to the implementation of
the Six Sigma strategies within the operations of the various companies that have been functional
within the organization. The authors tend to argue that the implementation of the Six Sigma
approaches tend to reflect a positive change in the matters that pertain to the improvement of the
various products and the services that are provided by the concerned organization. The various
Six Sigma practices that are adopted by the various organizations are known to be regarded as a
new form of the management of the different qualities within the organization (Altintas, Erginel

& Kucuk, 2016). The Six Sigma techniques are known to deal with the implementation of the
platform in the matters that pertain to the knowledge, the practices, the several quality resources
within the company (Costa, Silva & Ferreira, 2017). These resources within the organization are
complemented with various features and the resources within the company. This might help in
the matters that pertain to the improvement in the effectiveness of the resources that are utilized
by the company.
The authors suggest that there exists a relationship among the various critical factors
within the Six Sigma theories that are related to the matters that pertain to the performance
within the organization. These theories help in the attainment of the excellence in the
performance of the activities within the project. The authors attempt a review of the various
factors that are related to the Six Sigma techniques that are implemented within the concerned
organization. The authors attempt a discussion on the matters that pertain to the definition of the
various matters that deal with the critical success factors that are related to the matters pertaining
to the activities that are a part of the Six Sigma activities.
The authors tend to argue that the Six Sigma maintains a direct linkage with both the

supportive role of the management of the organization. This in turn deals with the matters that
pertain to the strategic alignment within the concerned organization. This might help in the

the processes. This might be defined as the parallel meso-structure within the organization.
The authors argue that the Six Sigma projects generally involve a shorter duration of time
for the completion of the concerned activity. Thus, the projects should be chosen in a way that is
related to the careful definition of the scope of the project. The scope of the project should allow
the speedy completion of the concerned project. This is due to the idealism in the realization of
the project due to the low amount of time that might have been allocated to the projects. This
ensure the fact that the concerned project is completed within the assigned deadline
(Gopalasamy, Mansor & Tambahan, 2013). The major difficulties that are encountered by the
concerned company relates to the matters that pertain to the lack pf the resources that are
necessary within the concerned organization. The lack of the availability of the experts as well as
the necessary resources that are implemented within the organization.
The authors of the article tend to implement the Partial Least Square method or the PLS
method in the exploration of the relationship that exists within the performance of the Six Sigma
projects and the critical success factors within the project. The article in discussion is based on
the data that is collected from the responses that were obtained from the interview of the 149
different respondents who had participated in the survey. The survey was majorly conducted
within the areas of Argentina and Brazil (Marzagão & Carvalho, 2016). The authors of the study
attempt a discussion in the matters that are related to the implementation of the Six Sigma
strategies within the operations of the various companies that have been functional within the
organization. The study in discussion has displayed the use of the documental analysis of the
matters that pertain to the projects that have been undertaken by the concerned organization. The

the organization. The findings of the study reveal the fact that the critical success factors are
generally related to the performance of the projects. These factors are also held responsible for
driving the concerned company towards the success through sheer hard work of the concerned
employees.
In lieu of the above discussion it might clearly be pointed out that there exists a proper
relationship among the performance of the Six Sigma projects and the critical success factors
within the project. The Six Sigma maintains a direct linkage with both the Green belts as well as
the Black belts that are existent within the concerned project in discussion. The Green belts as
well as the Black belts are also known to hold the place of the specialists involved in the matters
that are related to the improvement within the concerned organization. The various factors that
