current personal as well as academic and their professional objectives and goals by
knowledge development. This study will be addressing the group work presentation and
the module Self Development and Responsibility with things that have been learned
including newer information obtained. Further, the study will be elaborating the
professional and academic areas that require development. This reflection will even
include a plan for action that will demonstrate the targets that need to be achieved for
personal and professional development. Additionally, the plan will demonstrate global
awareness.

What have you learnt?
I have been able to attend that classes of the module “Preparing for Success – Self
Development and Responsibility" and have even completed a group work that included
a presentation. During my teamwork I have been able to enhance my skill of
communication including listening actively and talking as well as writing including
controlling my emotions and managing my stress level. The task has allowed me to
access various websites and books as well as journal which has assisted me in
improving my reading skills. I have realised that I have been able to manage my task as
well as time effectively and has been able to meet deadlines with an enhancement in
my skills of presentation. It is worth noting that the teamwork assists in developing skills
of problem-solving including negotiation as well as leadership and collaboration and
allows an individual to think critically (Simko et al., 2017). I have understood with the
experience that teamwork that it helps in gaining various perspectives on a single
subject which has assisted accomplishment of the task effectively and efficiently.
It is worth noting that the skills of negotiation play a vital role in teamwork and with
effective communication verbally misunderstandings are reduced when the group is
actively listening (Oxelmark et al., 2017). This has helped in building rapport and has
enhanced my skills in making useful decisions with assertiveness. I have been able to
improve self-efficacy with better control on my behaviour as well as personal motivation,
gaining higher confidence. Self-efficacy advancement helps in being calm even when
tasks considered challenging approaches and has been assisting me by acting as the
