individuals and production. This model shows the styles of leadership as implemented by the
manager to handle interpersonal conflicts (Duggan, 2018). The model says that the leadership
styles of the managers are identified on the basis of their concerns for either production or
people. The main categories of the styles of leaders are discussed below:

that the common goal or task brings the members of the teams or groups together. It is more
about accomplishing the practical tasks.
Group or team of people performing the task: The performance of the team or the group
will be done effectively if the group of people or the teams perform to accomplish common
task or to achieve the common goals or objectives. Therefore, the model says that the group
or teams have to be considered as an entity which has its own rights.
Each team or group member involved in the task: When the teams or groups take the
shape of their own life the individual member of the teams or groups do not have to lose their
identity. The needs of the people must be met so that they could remain motivated and
faithful towards their teams and groups.
The model is based on the actions of the leaders. It is the responsibility of the leaders to take
care of balancing the three elements so that these three elements could be attended at once.
There is a link between these three elements and if one element is ignored then automatically
the two will also not be able to succeed.
The above diagram shows the three important elements which every leader should take care
