and ways of resolving conflict between team members are described. Apart from this, evaluate to
monitor and improve the performance of team against the given objectives and some
recommendations regarding team development are also discussed in this report.

In our study we will be focusing on Tanfeeth which is a fully owned subsidiary of
Emirates NBD and was established in 2011 with the main aim of being the group’s shared

the ability of a manager to build a successful team. When people work together, they are able to
accomplish what individuals can’t on they own, this ability is known as synergy.

large teams or small teams as shown below; These characteristics are aligned to Tanfeeth and
specifically to the strategy team where I have had the pleasure of working in for the past 1 year
now.
Clear vision and mission: The strategy team at Tanfeeth have a mantra “knowing what
matters and applying it now” which is aligned to Tanfeeth goal of ensuring that we are
continuously raising the benchmark for customer service across the region. The team is
focused on individual output but they are all aligned to one common goal. They are also
motivated by the Group’s mission and strive to meet those objectives. Each team member
knows and values their individual contribution and know they personal effort build the
bigger picture.
Inspiring and motivated leader; The head of the strategy and transformation team is a
leader who clear understands the vision and articulates them very well. A successful team
must have a leader who is humble and open to criticism and feedback. They support and
encourage team morale, individual development and are not afraid to delegate

Group form a business stand point. During the Corvid pandemic the team was tasked with
project continuity even during the work from home situation. The team worked tirelessly to
ensure all projects were running smoothly and that there was minimal delays and disruptions to
the over 100 projects in the group. With the support of the team the group was able to continue
delivering all their projects within the same schedules and time buffers.
