I am …., a student of…. And the primary purpose of this Letter of Intent is to indicate my
interest in the summer research experience being provided at your institute. The summer research
experience is one of the most prestigious programs and hence, I would like to increase my skills
by applying to the program. Furthermore, the program will enhance my confidence in my
abilities, contribute to what I have learnt in class, prepare for a graduate experience in the future
and network with faculties and students from other fields.
According to me, I will be appropriate for the program because I already possess Critical
as well as analytical thinking skills along with the necessary statistical and technical skills which
