1- INTRODUCTION
Effective and confident persons are the real assists of the organizations. With every organization those
who are most effective make good progress and become mangers and CEOs of the company. in order
to maintain good confidence continuous wining progress is essential and is required. According to Dr
Kedar, people generally blame situations rather than finding reasons for their failure (Dr Kedar, 2016).
Negative approach may occur when we failed to find the reasons of our failures. A person's work helps
us to achieve goals and to use his skills, abilities, time and energy
(Courtney Osborn, 2019). Personal performance varies from person to person as it is fully based
carriers, type of work, personal health and goals. It is more scientific and efficient
including a variety of factors that have a direct impact on personal performance (Dr. Kedar, 2016).
Successful people have the following qualities such as determination, self-confidence,
hope, problem solving etc.
Sunder Pichai was born in 1972. He is the founder and CEO of Alphabet Inc. and associated with it
google (National Journal). Being the chief executive of such a large apartment, Sunder Pichai proved
himself to be one
of the world's best performer as statistics show that he has worked with remarkable success

Here in this section, we will critically analyse the skills and behaviours that make Sunder
Pichai an effectively global leader. Also, we will analyse the positive and negative skill and
behaviour and their impacts on his life.
2.1 SKILLS OF SUNDER PICHAI
Sunder Pichai is CEO in the world’s most reputed organization “Google”. To be the part of
such a huge organization required proper skills and behaviours. This also shows that with all
the success in the Google since his CEO, the credits are for sure Sunder Pichai’s enhanced
skills. To become CEO in a company like Google, among all of these competent staff he
possesses extra ordinary skills and smart thinking. Followings are some of Sunder Pichai
skills that make him an effective leader in Google (Tamanna, 2018). His achievements can
also be emphasising with the fact that since his appointment as CEO of Google many products
were launched and introduced like Mozilla Firefox web browsers (Adrija Bose, 2015).
2.1.1 BALANCE IN LEADERSHIP
Sunder has a very great leadership skills of even tempered and positive. According to Larry

dynamics, brilliant minds Google and Alphabet Inc have already done some amazing
achievements by updating their most popular product like Google chrome, Google Drive etc.

For many people who worked in organizations they follow Sunder Pichai as role model but
with all these realities he not a good decision maker. He often involves in controversial
decisions (NDTV, 2018). Those who worked contact bases with Google under Pichai,
management, they are not happy with many decisions as they are getting less benefits and
companies facilities. In some reports it is also reveals that Pichai does not have full authority
over Alphabet’s resource allocation to Google (NDTV, 2018).
2.2.3 INVOLVED IN CONTROVERSIES
The worst thing that can ever happen in a person professional life is involve in controversies.
These controversies can lead to some serious and disastrous circumstances. With a
reputation like Pichai controversies can easily become a threat to company financial loss.
Sunder Pichai involve in a sexual harassment controversy where a report say he did not
handle workers equally and workers were threatened to behave in a specific manner (Jennifer
Elias, 2020). Last year they also involve in tensions between the enterprises and employees
which catch public eye and media. On contract workers the management was in high tension
as and things get really wrong when workers threat the management and also on the ethical
sue of computer technology (Jennifer Elias, 2020). People comes out as a protest and
thousands of employees after a controversial report about high exit payments to mangers
charged with sexual harassment and people demand from the US military .and boarder
security authorities to act against them (Jennifer Elias, 2020).

According to the source that sunder Pichai is bad at management. For an agile management
the proper methodologies were applied for effective work and if the management is bad in
arranging task to their table the results can be disastrous specially for senior management
and CEOs. With such a responsible chair, mangers are bad at management then no body can
save the company from bad results. For Sunder Pichai it could be very bad for his carrier. In
the latest survey, the company faces new issues and pointed out possible management
concerns and staff were asked for a survey and almost 53 % reactions indicate the bad

Rivalry among Google and Microsoft is long. Previously sunder Pichai worked as a head of

3 REFLECTIVE STATEMENT
3.1 SELF ASSESSED DEVELOPMENT
Here in this section, I will critically analyse myself to identify developmental need regards to personal
effectiveness’s. As discussed above the personal effectiveness varies from person to person as it
depends upon factors like working environment, personal life, goals etc. By considering myself as an
employee of a reputed company the following areas should be improve to achieve a self-satisfactory
post of CEO in the future. The analysis is based on two important aspects, first is the negative and bad
habits I still faced with and secondly by the help of imagination when I get into the company as junior
manager or middle manager where my carrier will be at the starting point. The followings are the
impacts that can cause negative impact on my carrier in future and can cause bad impacts on my
personal and social life.

3.1.1 LACK OF SELF BELIVE
By considering my current status there is less signs of lack of self believes, but the reason of selecting
this into my weakness list is the future concerns. As I mentioned above that I assumed myself as an
employee of a reputed organization like Amazon, Google, Samsung etc. I my face a lot of
responsibilities on my shoulders and I will be answerable to my senior managers there may a
possibility of occurrence of lack of self believe when it comes to large projects and must win – win
situations. The reputed companies which were mentioned above work on the modern and advanced
methodologies like agile framework where different teams were given different small tasks and they
work on the principle of daily report progress. There is a possibility that I may failed and lack of self
believe developed within my brains for future projects.
3.1.2 PERSISTENCE
There is a famous saying that “try, try again”. But in reality, this seems to be difficult. When
we talk about individual’s life struggles and achievements the term persistence plays a vital
role in the development of that person, but when it comes to professional job life this term
may not seems possible. With failures in the company leads you a very difficult situation or
even you may get fired as professional companies hire competent persons and the lack of
errors are minimal. In my case the same situation may occurs with every failure and mistake
there will be an extra pressure to prove myself worth full but if not, this may lead my carrier
to bad situation.

3.1.3 TIME MANGEMENT
Time management is one of the most important and still effective techniques in every
project in the field. Today almost every company tries to satisfy the customers need and
compete with their rivals in the markets. For this purpose, they totally rely on their
employees to perform tasks within the time and complete their projects and launch it before
their rivals can do it. This healthy and customer favour competition leads to a stressful work
which may lead to lack of management when there is less time and more orders.
3.1.4 MANAGING STRESS
In every reputed organization there is always work load on the staff. As workers with daily
wages were sometimes adjusted in such manners that they were able to take break after
sometime but managers and CEOs does not have such schedule specially in the
manufacturing industry where products orders were always high than production and any
little decision may leads the company to huge losses. Managers with such busy routines
faces issues with stress and which sometimes effects their personal life.
3.1.5 LACK OF PLANNING
As I assumed myself as employee of a reputed organization. There may be times where
projects with less time to be completed. Practically there are a lot of agents that may cause
situations of time lacking in the industry. These agents are holidays other than public
(pandemic in recent times), different uncertain changes in the government, employees and
labour union strikes etc. with these agents sometimes the project may delay or getting
slower than the calculated rate. This is a serious problem for every management within the
organization. To overcome such situations managers follows a strict planning but sometimes
with lack of proper planning and mis read the situation the managers and CEOs could face a
lot of problems.
