INTRODUCTION
Personal reflection is related with reflecting the overall journey of the team work and the
way project was executed. In the present report there is is a personal reflection essay that is
formed based on the experience of designing, planning and pitching of the training event plan as
done in the assessment 1 (Erdogan, 2019). there is reflection on the planning, design and pitching
aspect of the training event. There is analysis of the aspects that went well and the difficulties
that were faced in the course of report. There is evaluation of the way different team roles were
practitioner and discussion of the skills acquired during learning.
Reflections on the design, planning and pitching stages of your training eventDesigning: In this stage there was understand of the alignment, decisions and terms of the main
objectives of the training event. At the designing stage there was setting up of training goal
where the capabilities and results that were required as part of training plan was set.
The learning objectives were set that was done for exhibiting the required skill in problem
solving & decision making.Planning: In this stage there was planning of the way activities had to be carried on. There were
planning of assigning the different task to each member as per their level of interest and the
competence they possess (Zahid and Khanam, 2019). There were set up of authority and
responsibility relationship among various team members and there was specific channels that is
set up about which team members had to report to whom. It lead to a systematic working
framework that was created in the whole team with proper planning.Pitching stages of training event: Pitching mechanics are described as the specific stage of
events. In this there are different aspects that is related to understanding of the main requirement
of the event. At this stage, I mainly focussed on execution of the work. After this stage there was
evaluation of the quality of evidence that is required to make analysis of the overall learning
objectives that have been achieved or not in the context of report. There is need to address to
major problems that may affect the success of the project for this purpose leader had to delegate
the responsibilities so that there can be completion of the work as per specified time deadlines.

Discussion of what went well and improvements
In the present report, while the team was assigned with various tasks there were some of
the issues that arises initially there was lot of confusion with respect to lack of clarity. So, for this
purpose there was determination of specific team roles that was assigned to each team member.
Went well: There were some of the activities that went well in the report. Such as it
includes the way the project was executed (Beavers, Orange and Kirkwood, 2017). In the
planning stage the elder itself assigned all the task and activities to various group members as per
their competence level. There was a proper timeline that was created in the initial stages of the
project where the technique of work break down structure that was used by leader. In this each
task was broken in small manageable activities so that each activity is properly managed and
completed accordance with the specified time period.
Improvements: while working in the present report I realised that there are several
improvements that could have been done if I would have given opportunity of working on the
report again. Such as I will work on my researching skills so that I am able to identify the
reliable and authentic sources for the purpose understanding in the report. Further I realised
while working on this report that there is need to provide all the team members with more
opportunity so that they are able to present their view points. It is going to lead towards more
creativity and innovation ideas that can help in the process of enhancing the effectiveness and
relevance of task.
Role as group members and contribution to project
In the present task my role as a group member was to work on the assigned task by our team
leader. I was assigned a particular topic where I had to understand the resource constraints and
realisation of the goal related to training and associated time period. There were some of the
outlet needs that had to be managed with respect to learning of employees. For this I had to
research on available sources so that I was able to gather sufficient information for the purpose
of conducting the research work.
In this process I worked on understand the different perspectives of the report that further helped
me in reaching to relevant scenario. There was proper division of tasks as per required tasks in
the course of report. Each of the responsibilities and tasks are interconnected and dependent on

team members had to manage their work as per their assigned roles:Action oriented roles: in this the team members where offered with two major roles that is
shapers and implementers. Shaper was the team members who was assigned the task of planning
all the activity since initiation and implementer was the one basically who had to turn all the
concepts and ideas into practical plans and actions (Whitney and Fox, 2017).
Implementer had to work systemically and efficiently in more organised manner. This team
members was not much flexible and somewhat resistant to change.People oriented roles: It include the ones who had to perform the roles after the team working
was already started. Such as coordinator who had to recognize the value of each team member is
bring in the organisation.
Team worker: These are the people who are providing the required support and ensuring that
people in team are able to work together effectively. Team workers were all the members were
offering help to people by providing them with required support.Thought oriented roles: In this there were specialist who are the people who had specified
knowledge that is required to get the job done. In this they are proportioning themselves with

understand the way there can be fluency in working with team by sharing of responsibility.Communication skill: In the present report I acquired communication skills that is verbal
communication skills were learnt in the course of Working in the task. I learnt that
communication is the key and foundation of effective team work. It helped in establishment of
open communication lines that can lead towards promoting of trust and a positive team
environment. There were disagreements on some matters but such issues were quickly resolved
by considering the opinion of each of the team members.Time management skills: responsibility, accountability and time management are all the
important skills that are very crucial for academic and professional career for a individuals.
Project managers must poses strong organisational skills so that they are able to manage the
goals and are on track for meeting up the deadlines. In the present report I demonstrated string
time management skills as all the tasks that were assigned by the team leader were timely and
properly completed by me (Apsari, 2018). I acquired the way of balancing the multiple
assignments and deadlines so that there can be smooth working in collaborative working
environment for upcoming future time.Problem solving skills: there is need of effective problem solvers so that if there are any issues
or challenges then that can be dealt to deal with the negative outcomes. This approach helped me
in uncovering of inefficiencies and in going towards the team success.Listening skills: In this project I recognised that listening is also very important along with
speaking and communicating. In this process I anticipated the challenges and needs that are to be
considered ro respond effectively towards the view points of other team members.Collaborative working skills:

perspectives. The present group has helped in having better learning experience throughout the
team working. There was a highly productive team where each individual posses a desire to
