MAIN BODY
Self Analysis
SWOT basically is used as a tool to identify the strengths and weaknesses of an individual
which helps to perform the task and work towards both personal and professional development.
As mentioned earlier SWOT analysis covers weaknesses of an individual therefore it eventually
helps to convert the incapability’s into strength. The other factors of SWOT analysis are
opportunities and threats. Opportunities help in finding ways to develop my strengths and skills
and threats basically defects as obstacles in the development of my career.
Given below are some analysis of my skills and behaviour:-
Strengths
My communication skills are pretty good due to my constant habit of communicating and
interacting with knowledgeable people around me it helps me learn new things from them as
each person has a different mindset to everything. Communicating with people helps in getting
new facts and knows what's going around. It enhances my knowledge and the way I think and
speak (Cartono and Novianty, 2021). I get to learn new words and it has helped me a lot in
improving my vocabulary too.

I believe I'm good at decision making and I take Coordinative decisions which are
beneficial to everyone. I learned this skill long time back when I was in school because I
used to read a lot of case studies and other stuff that really enhanced my decision making.
I used to solve a lot of studies in order to enhance my that particular skill. All of it really
helped me in understand the situation in a much clearer and better way and how can one
find a proper solution to a given problem
Weaknesses
I feel that I've a weakness and that has to be time managing. I find it difficult to manage
time and allotting a certain amount to time to a particular work. I take too much time on
one responsibility because I always want to do everything perfect. And while keeping
that in my mind I sometime lose the track of time and I realize it later. Now I try to keep
a check on my activities and notice that how much time I'm taking to do a certain job.
I'm pretty weak with my observational skills. Basically as a supervisor it should be
something I'm really good at but I find it difficult to observe each and everything.
Observational skills require you to be fully attentive 24*7 and check every activity of
your subordinates but I sometimes miss that and sort of get busy with my own duties and
that is something I'm bad at.
Opportunities
I have opportunity to gain the delegation skills. For supervisor this skill is effective and
also this will help me to add additional skills to my skills set to grow in career.
I have huge opportunity to develop some note making skills while working on the
development of my key weaknesses in order to transform them into strength. This is very
good skill this will make me prosper in my career (Attrill, McAllister and Brebner, 2021).
Threats
Lack of mentorship skills are my key threat as I am not able to behave like good mentor
to others which is not good for me and my career as supervisor in any organisation. For
the good supervisor the foremost important thing is to become good communicating
mentor who can guide and listen to others.
In effective conflict resolution skills is also threat to my career as a supervisor because
