SUPPLY CHAIN 3
Question 1 response
Reducing response time. By reducing the response time to the raised queries and other
customers’ compliments, the firm will be able to retain most of its customers since their queries
and suggestions will be considered by the management body.
Question 2 response
Supply chain. The supply chain is the ancient customer fulfilment services applied in the
business environment where business or firms uses a chain of other business to help them deliver
goods and services to the customer. For instance, a company may contract other delivery
companies to help them deliver the customer’s goods to various geographical locations in time
(Christopher, 2016).
Question 3 response
One of the identified challenges of using a single web site in service delivery is divided supply
chains process. This is possible in that when the contracting businesses or companies involved in
the supply chain do not work together or when there is communication problem within the firms,
delivery goods and services will not be satisfactory to the customer (Hugos, 2018).
The identified opportunity in using a single web site is that the business has the opportunity to
reach out to the targeted certain audience hence this will improve their sales volume.
The current DC network is believed to support this strategy since there will be a prompt
Response to the customers’ queries and compliments which supports the Biglow stores
strategies.
