Supply Chain is a system consisting of people, firms, organisations, resources as well as
channels through which the firm is able to build an infrastructure which is of a competitive
nature and helps the firm to perform and operate at the global level. It helps in monitoring the
inventories and the logistics in such a way that the firm is able to strategise the resources so that
the total supply of the firm can be synced to meet the total demand facing the firm (Christopher,
2016). Majan as a firm provides packaging services to its customers and so the handling and
monitoring of the supply chain is extremely crucial and integral to the smooth functioning of all
the other departments and processes of the firm. Supply chain management is a part of the
operations management of any firm. This report tries to study the steps taken by Majan as a firm
for its supply chain management in the context of operations management.

Majan as a firm is associated with providing services in the field of packaging and is
primarily established in the carton folding industry. The firm helps different brands to connect to
