1MANAGEMENT COMMUNICATION
In the volatile business environment, communication is the greatest medium of
exchanging ideas and information, which is the key of keeping an organization informed
regarding the ongoing trend in the market. This is the way, though which the employees can be
kept informed regarding the new business process. Binder (2016) commented that with the
assistance of communication, a trusting environment in an organization can also be executed.
Building strong relationship with the supply chain partners is highly required for
strengthening the logical focus of supply chain management. As the supply chain partners are the
external stakeholders, it is imperative to maintain healthy communication with them in order to
strengthen the public image of a company. Goetsch & Davis (2014) commented that there lies
the significance of Symbolic Interactionist Theory, which paves the way for an organization to
maintain cordial connection with that of the broader society. According to this theory,
communication is the greatest way of exchanging language and symbol, which is the key of
building a strong sense related to social world. This is the best framework of building cordial
relationship with the supply chain partner, which can serve an organization with the ability to
understand the objectives of the supply chain partners. Through this way, effective decision
making can be initiated (Cook, 2017).
Negotiation is the greatest aspect of dealing with supply chain partners. This is the mode
of maintaining healthy interaction with the supply chain partners. There lies the significance of
Face negotiation theory, which shows the way so that people from different cultural background
can communicate with each other and thereby mitigate any kind of conflicting situation.
According to Ziek & Anderson (2015) culture is the biggest barrier towards maintaining cordial
relationship with other, which eventually led to greater conflict. Face negotiation theory
highlights that the willingness of a people to be integrated within a group determines his or her

way of dealing with conflict. In an organization, there are diverse range of people, who work
together in terms of satisfying organizational goals. The supply chain partners also belong from
different culture and social background. Therefore, it is imperative for the corporate entities to
make a strong agreement by integrating certain terms and conditions. The supply chain partners
must also be aligned within decision making process (Coombs, 2015). This is the way, through
which their needs can be assessed before taking any final decision.
Positive image of a company among the supply chain partners plays a vital role in
strengthening its public image. Therefore, a situation must be analyzed properly before applying
any communication method. In order to build strong relationship with the supply chain partners,
it is imperative to assess the situation and nature of people before executing an interactive
method with them. This can pave the way of controlling different societal context. The gesture
and posture of the communicators and the usage of word must be appropriate in accordance with
the situation (Christopher, 2016). Adaptation and non-adaptation of communication are two
different aspects of communication with that of the external world. Adaptation is regarded as the
way of communicating properly with the intention of decreasing social differences. On the other
hand, Jacobs, Chase & Lummus (2014) showed that non-adaptation of communication deals with
non-verbal communication. To maintain cordial relationship with the supply chain partners, it is
imperative to follow a certain standard.
The fundamental goal of maintaining cordial relationship with the supply chain partners
is to get desired business outcome. On the other hand, the requirements of the supply chain
partners can also be satisfied by establishing strong relationship. Hugos (2018) highlighted by
saying that this is a kind of exchange of objectives to get mutual benefit. This is the true basis of
Social Exchange Theory, which focuses on the fact that human relationship is an outcome of

social behavior, the intention of which is to maximize mutual benefit. As relationship with the
stakeholders is a give and take policy, building cordial relationship can support them to
strengthen the value of mutual benefit, which is the key of promoting sustainable growth of
business. Relationship is an independent aspect. Thus, it is imperative to generate positive
behavior among the supply chain partners (Boonjing, Chanvarasuth & Lertwongsatien, 2015).
Supply chain is one of the biggest aspects of a company, which paves the way of
promoting growth in the operation. Supply chain is the fundamental area of improving the
productivity of a company which is the key of amplifying financial stability. Mangan, Lalwani &
Lalwani (2016) observed that drastic development of technology is playing a pivotal role for the
company. Computerized supply chain management is one of the most significant ways,
through which strong relationship with the partners can be maintained by ensuing its visibility.
Technology is the great way of communicating with the external world.
Managing order is the great difficulty, faced by the supply chain managers of an
organization. This can result in negative image to a brand, which can eventually affect its public
image. There lies the significance of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology,
which play a critical role in monitoring the products in the market. Brandenburg et al., (2014)
stated that with the assistance of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, the staffs of
an organization can detect the anomalies in order. This is the way, through which any kind of
problem in the supply chain network can be solved. This serves the companies with the ability to
generate positive relationship with the supply chain partners.

management of supply chain. In the contemporary times, outdated truck scales are also being

the external world. In the context of IT industry, social media is playing a major role in
optimizing the supply chain operation, which is highly required to generate positive perception
among the supply chain partners (Wisner, Tan & Leong, 2014). It is imperative for the IT
companies to open wide range of channels which is the key of keeping in touch with the supply
chain partners. Strong channels are the easiest way to respond towards the needs and
requirements of the supply chain partners and thereby ensure the durability of a company.
Transport Management Software is another vital tool, through which strong
communication can be sustained with that of the supply chain partners. With the assistance of
computerized shipping system, all the operations related to supply chain can be aligned within
the single platform. This is the way, through which all the inventory data can be managed
appropriately. This can have a firm impact on enhancing the experience of supply chain partners,
which can pave the way of building strong connection with them (Pagell & Shevchenko, 2014).

handling the supply chain with utmost efficiency. There are multiple range of information such
as data from radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, information related to the

Being a supply chain leaders, I was bestowed with the responsibility of dealing with the
supply chain partners. I hold in-depth knowledge in automation, which has paved the way for me
to use effective business model. As healthy communication with the supply chain partners is all
about using technology, I have made use of information technology effectively in order to align
all the supply chain partners in a single platform. I also hold enterprise IT skill, with the
assistance of which, I have used the business information in a consistent manner. I have also
used excel spreadsheets in order to analyze the data before taking any kind of decision.
I have also applied the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning software) in such a manner,
so that the business can be operated in a cost effective manner. As the business environment is
changing rapidly, it is highly significant to have strong knowledge about the ongoing trend in
market. I have a strong knowledge on the market dynamics, which is also helping me to explore
changing requirements of the supply chain partners. I have also gathered significant knowledge
regarding the niche market. Being the supply chain leaders, in-depth study regarding the market
has supported me to work dynamically in the drastically changing market scenario (Christopher,
2016). I have strong communication skill, so that I have handled diverse range of range of supply
