5.2 “Demonstrate the ways of supporting the children and young people with the behavior
difficulties to identify and agree behavior targets”
There are various ways that should be taken into consideration so that to support can be
given to the children and young people with the behavior difficulties. In a school there can be
many students who have various behavioral issues but this can only be identified by the teachers.
It is the responsibility of the teacher to bring ways so that behavior of the children can be
changed by the young people. If a child have a behavioral problem then it can be difficult for
him or her to work in a group. In this situation it is important to focus on managing the activities
so that activities can be conducted by the students in a right so that goals and objectives can be
achieved (Dawson and Guare, 2018).
The young people should reward by giving stickers to the primary students so that
behavior can be managed in an effective manner of the students. If the reward like sticker or
chocolate is given at the time of completing the good work by the student then it can give them
motivation to complete the activity within the given time and in a proper manner. The teachers
can also praise the individuals to complete the task within the targets which are given and this
will help to show them the direction. It is also important to conduct proper session for the
children so that it can be easy to acquire knowledge and skills. By learning sessions it can be
simple for the children to attain the targets or behavior in such a manner which is related with the
overall targets (Martin and Pear, 2015).
Next method that should be taken into consideration by the teacher is related with the
learning activity. The head teacher or the teacher should conduct the learning activity so that the
children can complete their work on time and with proper efficiency. The head teacher should
focus on giving time to the children so that they can play in the ground before the next session.
When learning sessions are conducted by giving intervals then it can be easy for the children to
learn and acquire new knowledge. By giving break to the children it can be easy for them to feel
motivated. In a happy manner they will conduct the activities and it will change the behavior of
the children from negative to positive. Positive behavior of the children can be improved by
offering proper sessions and break so that the children can feel motivated and happy (Crone,
Hawken and Horner, 2015).

The teachers should also focus on considering the negative behavior of the children so
that it can be easy for them to manage the overall activities. The children can be motivated when
they are given chance to express their feelings and also it can help it manage their overall
activities so that it can be easy for them to focus on the targets in a proper manner. To achieve
the target positive behavior should be there of the children (Montano and Kasprzyk, 2015).
