5.1 “Demonstrate ways of supporting the children and young people to review the behavior
and the impact of this on others, themselves and their environment”
If the child is behaving in a negative manner, then it is important to encourage them so
that the negative behavior can be minimized of the individual. This is also important for an
individual to focus on minimizing the negative behavior so that it can be easy to learn and
acquire new things. It has been seen that it is essential to motivate the children so that they can
behave in a proper manner. The motivation which is given by the teachers can help the children
to be confident in the overall activities. Teachers should focus on the motivation factor so that
negative impact can be reduced of the individual. Motivation factor changes the behavior of
children and also bring change in the overall learning pattern. It is seen that when a person is
motivated then he or she can give their best towards the assigned activities. It is essential to focus
on maintaining the self-image of the students so that confidence level of the students can be
enhanced. Motivation is the best factor that can help to support the students and it has been seen
that positive impact can be seen in the overall behavior. When motivation is given to the students
it not only creates positive behavior of the individual but also helps to maintain the environment
of the schools (Garbarino, 2017).
The teachers should give support to the children so that they can also influence the other
students to conduct the activities in an ethical manner. Support given by the students through
motivation can help to bring change in the overall behavior. Children will feel confident and
happy when support is given by the teachers. For students teachers play a great role and without
teachers, it is not possible for the students to complete their task or the activities in a proper
behavior (Biglan, 2015).
Teachers motivate the students so that the negative behavior or the challenging behavior
of the students can be changed into the positive one. It is seen that children should be given
rewards like chocolates and gifts if they are conducting the activities in an effective manner. This
is also one of the important factors that should be taken into consideration by the teachers so that
in right manner activities can be conducted. To manage the behavior of the people it is important
for the teachers to induce the students to perform the activities in a right manner. The
environment of the school is important and if it is positive then it can be easy for the students to
behave in a positive manner (LeVine, 2018).
