Life event through which an individual go through impact on their personal as well as
their social network. Supporting significant life event is define as study of health and social
issues which an individual go through which may also leads to lose of belongingness (Rodin,
2014). Along with this these life events are normative or non normative events that can be
unusual and expected events or unexpected, unpredictable and significant events accordingly.
Topics include in this report are understanding of significant life events which affect on
individual and their socialist network. Moreover it also explain about experience of significant
life events on a person as well as it will also explain about analysis of response made by health
and social care services in order to support individual experience who is suffering from life
event. These all topics are based on case study which are provided and it is related to two live
experience i.e. dementia and bereavement.

their life in effective manner as well as this may also leads to loss of their love one. There are

issue and understand that in the situation of dementia people lost their memory and day by day
they also going through various other physical problems. In this case peoples also lose their

sleeping habit as well as they also forget to eat and dressed. On the other hand, in respect of
bereavement, it is define as situation when an individual lose their loved one. Due to this they get
suffered from depression, lack of sleep, health issues and many more. But as a health and social
care professional I conduct various activities in order to support peoples who are suffering from
dementia as well as bereavement. For example I interact with them on regular basis and try to
understand their situation, by this they able to feel comfortable with me as well as they also able
to treat them properly. Along with this, in order to support these type of peoples I also conduct
spiritual support to them by arranging yoga as well as meditation classes. But while treating
these peoples I also face several issue such as at starting stage individuals suffering from live
experience not feel comfortable in sharing their issues. So for which I have to conduct my extra
efforts, at last I am happy that I these cases because it will enhance my knowledge as well as as
skill which is essential for me as a health and social care professional.
3.3 Recommendations
There are various factors or ways which can be adopted by health and social care centre
in order to improve their facilities in respect of those peoples who are suffering from live
experiences such as dementia and bereavement. Some major recommendations which can be
provided by analyzing above situation are explain below:-
Enhance quality of care: It is define as a strategy or recommendation in which health
and social care can enhance the quality of their services or care which are provided to
individuals who are suffering from live experiences (Cogan, 2014). For which these type
of centers can provide training to their employees so that effectively treat their patients.
Tele care and support group: It can be recommended to health and social care center
that must provide their patients tele care serveries as well as support group. In this
respective care center provide telecommunication services to those patients who not able
to come to care center. As well as they must also provide a support group who will visit
to patients home after a particular time duration.
Provide long term practices: According to this recommendation health and social care
services must provide their services for long time duration in order to ensure that patient
is healing day by day (Cuzzocrea and et.al., 2014). This will also help them in conducting
proper medical treatment so that individual face live experience get heal properly and
effectively.

efforts, at last I am happy that I these cases because it will enhance my knowledge as well as as
skill which is essential for me as a health and social care professional.
3.3 Recommendations
There are various factors or ways which can be adopted by health and social care centre
in order to improve their facilities in respect of those peoples who are suffering from live
experiences such as dementia and bereavement. Some major recommendations which can be
provided by analyzing above situation are explain below:-
Enhance quality of care: It is define as a strategy or recommendation in which health
and social care can enhance the quality of their services or care which are provided to
individuals who are suffering from live experiences (Cogan, 2014). For which these type
of centers can provide training to their employees so that effectively treat their patients.
Tele care and support group: It can be recommended to health and social care center
that must provide their patients tele care serveries as well as support group. In this
respective care center provide telecommunication services to those patients who not able
to come to care center. As well as they must also provide a support group who will visit
to patients home after a particular time duration.
Provide long term practices: According to this recommendation health and social care
services must provide their services for long time duration in order to ensure that patient
is healing day by day (Cuzzocrea and et.al., 2014). This will also help them in conducting
proper medical treatment so that individual face live experience get heal properly and
effectively.

By adopting these recommendation health and social care able to enhance quality of their
services which help them in treating peoples suffering from live experience in appropriate and
efficient manner.

By evaluating above discussed point it can be summarised that there at various type of
live experience through which an individual go through and this will impact on their physical as
well as mental health. Along with this it will also impact on life of other peoples as well as group
because they have to take of these peoples so that they get overcome from their issues. For this
there are also several policies as well as procedure which must be adopted by an organization to
social and health care centre so that they can provide proper services. There are also several
ways which are used by an individual or group in order to provide support to individual who is
suffering from live experience such as Physical, Spiritual, Psychological and Social. Moreover
there are also several factors which must be consider by organization in order to support suffered
individuals.
