INTRODUCTION
From the time of birth many expected and unexpected life events and experience are lead
out by an individual which leads significant impact on their behaviour and mind set. The
favourable and positive events tend to have an optimistic impact on an individual while the
negative experience leads to many issues along with physical and physiological illness or
disabilities (Walsh and Forest, 2020). The health care organisation selected for current
assignment is The National Care Forum (NCF) which is promoting quality care as a member of
non profit organisation with the aim of laeding socail care provision along with amining at
enhancing the quality of human life, their choice along with better control and wellbeing of
people which is basically located in England, UK (NCF, 2020). The current assignment
comprises of a discussion about the impact all the expected and the unexpected set of situation
that considered as significant life events on individuals during the various ages and stages along
with the impact of different significant life events on the individual’s family, friends and wider
social networks. Further, a comparison about the different set external voluntary and statutory
agencies in providing support to individuals is also made. Apart from this, an analysis of the
connection laed out between organisational policies along with the support available in health
and care setting along with referral processes available to support an individual and their social
networks.

Every individual need to go through various types of significant life event during course of
life at different stages and phases comprises of childhood, adulthood, middle age, old age, dying,
etc out of which some are expected and some are unexpected. These life event can be described
and evaluated as major a major factor that leads changes in an individual’s life ad living factor
(Satapathy and et. al., 2020). For instance the expected life events faced by an individual at
different stage consists of Marriage/Living with a partner, birth or a sibling or child, Leaving
home, Starting of school, Starting of work, birthday party, job promotion, retirement, etc while
some examples of unexpected life events consists of Divorce, Bereavement, divorce, death,
Serious illness or injury along with any kind of physical and learning disabilities, Redundancy

and unemployment. Thus, the significant lives events can be both happy as well as grief which
are tend to based on the prevailing circumstances and situation of an individual.
Further, the significance of life events can be made from the fact that it lead a vital impact
on individual’s life which comprises of severe physical, physiological, and social influence and
changes for an individual. The Physical responses and impact made by a positive event might
comprises of a good health and better personality where as the physical impact lead out due to
some negative and unexpected life event mainly consists of and lead out by a sorrowful life
events which seem as intimidating (Hardesty and et. al., 2019). Further, a physiological
responses or impact lead by a event comprises of happiness and mental peace in case of positive
event where as it could lead a direct negative impact on the immune system of the individual in
case of a negative and expected kind of life event that might lead to a feel chest pain, loss of
happiness, aches, etc. Beside this sometimes a life event also even have direct impact on the
individual's social life as an individual does not want to become a part of the social cultural
system due to some unexpected or negative happing in their life.

provides an adequate and instant support to the individual during the grieving stage of life.

motivate that individuals friend to life a better life through overcoming and let go of difficult

individual as they ensures and leads to better understanding in individuals about the prevailing
situation and helps in making them accept the loss of there physical disabilities or learning issues
through building a higher level of confidence and support in that individuals. Further, the
colleagues of the adult who is suffering from any kind of physical or learning disabilities also
lead a positive influence and impact on the individuals through boosting them for better
performance at their job along with facilitating and providing a stress free in life (Banks, Bassoli
and Mammi, 2020). Further, a better impact can be lead by the society for an individual going in
through an expected life event leading that individual in order to accept such situation along with
providing adequate support to the individual throughout the grieving process faced due to any
kind of sudden physical or learning disability.

arranging vital training for staffs and employees by the organisation in order to provide a better
understanding and awareness regarding the need assessment and life event of a person to offer
them a better quality life and needed care.
