The Business organisation is an institution where innovation and investment has been
taken place to sustain growth. In general words, sustainable development means meeting the
needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generation to meet their neds and
demand. It is quite challenging for the business to equally manage the availability of all the
resources (Azzahidi, Bengrich and Omrane, 2020). As well all know, that resources are limited
and scarcity of it put obligation over the organisation to effectively manage their resources by
avoiding its wastage. The dynamic and uncertain business environment can be deal with
effective plans and sustainable use of resources to achieve the organisational goal. This report
will cover the concept of sustainable development and its impact on gaining advantage for
organisation. Further, it will discuss the attributes and capabilities that are relevant for business
success in a complex business environment.

The emergence of globalisation and industrialization of industries in the International market
has stressed out the government regarding the environment protection and innovative use of
resources. It is important for an organisation to use effective methods and plans to minimise the
wastage by efficient use of resources. This would helps them to earn high profit without wasting
the resources for future generation. The scarcity of resources puts compulsory obligation over the
organisation to use the cost effective technique where environment would be less affected. The
industrial effluent and use of harmful chemicals has drastically affected the environment and
also endanger the human lives. In the year 1987, the United Nations Brundtland Commission
has given the wider meaning to the sustainable development. The commission was specially
remarked the need of the humans and its demand among the future generations. They were raised
the concern for the upcoming generation and availability of limited resources such as water ,
quality of air etc. (Büyüközkan, Karabulut and Mukul, 2018). The commission was aimed to

Janeiro in 1992 were the important summit that take place to avoid global warming and
addresses the crucial issue of climate change. The sustain use of resources in an organisation
highlight the goring capacity among the stakeholders and helps to build brand value in the
