Government is one of the key stakeholders of Corporate Social Responsibility (Dong &
Qian, 2014). In the last few decades, the government, both national and international has joined
with the other stakeholders in the process of assuming a significant role as the key drivers of the
Social responsibility and adopting the roles of the public sector in strengthening the initiatives.
Government now-a-days is extremely focused upon developing and integrating the market tactics
along with the other approaches in order to guide or influence the behaviors which can benefit
both the communities and the individuals for a greater good to the society. They play a huge role
in solving the most pressing issues of the society all around the world. The Social responsibility
in the CSR or business pertains to the organization and people conducting and behaving the
business ethically along with sensitivity towards cultural, social, environmental and economic
issues (Filatotchev & Stahl, 2015). Near about most of the well know organizations around the
globe is implementing CSR activities within its business in order to attract more customers. Both
the business and the CSR activities in this way are pursuing sustainable improvements for the
corporate value. These CSR activities are benefitting the society in great ways. It is influencing
the ability of a business to attract the top most talents and is affecting the job satisfaction of the
employees.
