The assessment of the three attributes develops various strengths and weakness of the
premium hotels in the business market. The author pointed out the attributes is found to be
directing the travellers leading to the productive factors of tourism. The quality of the services
provided by the premium hotel like Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts can be improved by
meeting the needs of the local communities and also monitoring how the residing population
could perceive the tourism regarding the improvement of life quality in the long run (Mowforth
& Munt, 2015).
The strengths of the three attributes are:
Revenue generation
Revenue generation is beneficial for directing the business towards the sustainable
development of tourism. This is so because the customers consider the tourist destinations more
authentic when the tourist destinations involve the local cuisines and cultures. This nature of the
customer’s results into the revenue generation among the local communities that provides
facilities for them to perceive tourism as it is the method of bringing economic development.
Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts situated in Indonesia could encourage the tourist to visit such
places including the beaches and art galleries (Santika.com. 2019). This ensures that the serving
of revenue to the tourist helps to improve the standards of livings of the local people. Therefore it
can be noted that the local people would able to develop the positive perception regarding
tourism and could support the tourism development.

Sustainability is considered as the aspects of tourism. This looks after the sustainable
development in the business and this also ensures that the government is able t maintain the
tourist spot for making the tourist destinations more authentic like the availability of cultural

maintenance of the environmental factors for the tourist destinations leads to tourist satisfactions
(Mikulić, Kožić & Krešić, 2015). These types of serving also pave ways for the revenue
generation for both the local business organizations and the local government bodies in terms of
taxes. Therefore it can be said that the business attributes leads to sustainability in the tourist
destinations in terms of financial and environmental conditions.
The weaknesses for the implementation of the attributes are:
Highly initial expenditure
This can be said that the development of the tourist destinations would require the high
initial expenditures. This can also be pointed that the developing countries governments could
not afford to the sanction of the large amount of investment and budget towards the tourism
development (Franzoni, 2015).
Dynamic nature of the tourist demands
The hotels and the government of the developing countries are required to spend large
amount of investment for meeting the demands of the tourist. This also requires modifying the
facilities like meeting the demands of the tourist places that creates immense pressure on the
resources of the local business functioning for the tourist destinations (Manuel-Navarrete,
Papenfuss & Buzinde, 2017).

There are two externalities that are distorting the local markets in the popular tourist
destination are:
Rise in water consumption and pollution
This is considered as the major factor that is distorting the local housing markets in the
tourist destinations that is the rise in the water consumption. The premium hotels like Whistler is
more prone to provide the high –end clients by providing the facilities like the swimming pools
that consumes large amount of water available in the tourist destination that could lead to
colossal water pollution. The high level of water pollution could lead to damage to the residents
like animals and plant those are entirely dependent on the water resources. Therefore the extreme
absence of water and damage to the environment creates problems for the local housing market
(Moutinho & Vargas-Sanchez, 2018). The premium hotel took steps towards the recycling of the
resources for generating fewer amounts of wastes, such initiatives of the resorts contributes in
the minimizing of the high level of water pollution.
Damage in the landscape of destination
This is considered as another major factor that leads to damage in the local housing
markets and also in the landscape of the detonations. The construction and the development of
the hotels result into the massive amount of excavation in the tourist destinations. This is found
out that the business organization often disregards the natural texture of soil that leads to the
devastation in the agricultural productivity of the soil. The companies involved in the
construction also leads to large amount of gases, chemicals and sludge (Moutinho & Vargas-
Sanchez, 2018). The reuse of the parts of the effluents like the fertilizers that could be used in
agriculture leads to the protection of endowment resources.
