Week 6: Accounting and Reporting for sustainability
ANZ has been following their corporate responsibility which includes variable
remuneration that is required to be focused in supporting their business strategy. The delivery of
value and shareholders of the company has pointed the individual performance which is required
to be assessed against the longer term strategies indicators of the company (Abou Taleb, Gibson
& Hovey, 2015). Major categories of indicators are such as risk indicators, financial indicators
and customer indicators has reported against the company. The profit performance of economics
has to be adjusted with the risk performance that is required to be included in the corporate
responsibility of the company. The board of the company has pointed their financial indicators
which includes the influencing factors that would be beneficial for the company.
The company that is ANZ bank has determined these indicators that are risk indicators
which consist of separate measure that is required to be adjusted in its overall performance. The
financial performance of the company has almost half that is 50% of the total weightage. Overall
performance of the customers and people responsibility consist of both 25% of overall
weightage. The performance framework of the company has strategic performance indicators
that points out the strategic performance indicators which points out the guideline for
determining the indicators (Boulianne, Keddie & Postaire, 2018). In addition to this, according
of ANZ, responsible banking means to maintain the high standard of overall conduct that would
help in improving the overall outcome for the customers. The management framework of the
customers promotes their commercial banking which helps in establishing the positive financial
behaviour.

Exploring the lifestyle contributes of greenhouse gases that has been emitted in normal
procedure of changing approaches of green house gases. The mentioned animations points out
the greenhouse gases and the carbon cycle which consist of the ozone layer and carbon footprint.
Greenhouse gases is mainly responsible for greenhouse effect that is mainly available in the
atmosphere which includes certain type of gases such as water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane
and others (Schwartz, 2018). The sustainability of the environment is associated with natural
environment that affects the most of the climate of the earth. Moreover, carbon cycle is a type of
bio chemical cycle that is absorbed by the gas known as carbon dioxide which is exchanged by
the constitutions of the world.
In addition to this, ozone layer is the region of the earth that mainly absorbs ultraviolet
radiation of the sun. Living in a more sustainable way mainly helps the individual in selecting
certain energy efficient options. It helps the creatures of earth from the harmful radiation of the
earth and helps in maintaining the overall temperature of the earth. On other hand, carbon
footprint is the total emission that is caused by an individual or any company and business which
is expressed by carbon dioxide (Ahmadi, Hao & Tsao, 2018). The total amount of greenhouse
gas has been evaluated which mainly points out the total amount that has been emitted by the
individual. In modern technology, the use of technology has changes the combat climate along
with reducing the production of greenhouse gases.
