The scenario here is where the company is
dumping its waste in a river bank. Dumping
waste into the rivers affect the aquatic life, there
are other alternative ways such as recycling that
the company would make use of to maintain the
universe at a balanced point.

Thesis statement
The current approach of dumping waste in water
bodies is unsustainable because of various
reasons. The activity risks the live of aquatic
animals apart from the people making use of the
water from the specific lake according to Lewis,
(2016).

• The processing activity involves various
products. Most of these products are made up
of chemicals. Aquatic animals depend on air
from water, however, pouring the unwanted
chemicals in the water limits oxygen
according to Soini & Birkeland,(2014). It also
affect people around the area. It is necessary
to find other ways such as recycling the waste
materials.

• Sustainability is a field that focuses on making
use of the universe resources but the ecology
still remains balanced. In this scenario, the aim
of sustainability is protect the environment,
bring economic stability in the organization and
ensure that people living around the company
area are safe. Economic stability of a company
is attained when there are customers.
However, the chemicals would affect the
people around and most of them would resist
the products instead.

include environment, economy and social
matters according to Ilyin, Ursul &Ursul,(2015).

• Recycling protects the environment in various
ways. For the matter of sustainability, recycling
ensures that the environment is ever green.
Many organizations depend on the plants for
raw materials. Therefore , recycling would be
the best way to protect the raw materials from
as the company continues to yield the best out
of it.

• When it comes to social matter, sustainability
is concerned with life of individuals. Pollution
of the environment affect the health of people
negatively. From the above scenario, when
raw materials are dumped in water bodies
such as lakes, human beings would consume
the water and may end up with serious health
problems.

• Economic concern in this scenario is to ensure
that the organizations provides services to the
customers without aby compromise of quality.
