Use of consumables/ materials/ technology/
equipment
 The dominant energy utilizing equipment in the
organization are electricity and natural gas
emission.
 The switches are properly checked for less
energy consumptions but however in few
cases, there are some missing outs are found
 The staff is often found to use the sleep modes
and screensavers are found to be extensively
used (Toland and Guidera 2017).
 The practise of the proper maintenance of the
energy consumption policy and the monitoring
of the employees to abide by the same is
identified to be the most effective practise used
for minimising the energy wastage.
The natural gas and electricity consumption is taken care of by the Sustainability plan and it is made
sure that the office equipment are utilized feasible in conserving as much as energy possible.
Energy usage e.g. water, electricity gas
 Energy is utilized on a daily basis in the
resource management as all the human
resources are provided with computers to work
on and their individual equipment are also
found to be consuming energy when they are
often found to be charging using the office
electricity system (Collins and Junghans 2015).
Also the amenities used by the organization
are found to be taking up the most amount of
energy, like coffee machines and the beverage
providers.
 The most energy is consumed by the usage of
laptops and connecting devices.
 The switches are not switched on overnight or
on weekends but some exceptional cases may

 Commercial and industrial waste is any waste
generated by a business or organisation in the
course of carrying out its activities (Shaikh et
al. 2017).
 Sorting the waste, reusing the waste,
considering the reusable waste and disposing
of the waste that cannot be used.
 The staff is aware of the conscious waste
management policy.
The staff is careful about the proper utilization of the waste and the waste management policies are
properly understood.
