INTRODUCTION
Sustainability hospitality management is a conceptual term that focuses on sustainability
of hotel industry where it will determine issues in business operations and functions. In terms of
hospitality sector, sustainability management impact on the organizational environment and
culture. Present study will be based on sustainability of hospitality management. In order to
focus on the sustainability development and it will discuss issues of environment where how to
improve the sustainable approach in the hospitality sector. Besides, that study will present the
impact of sustainability development and brings new ideas and goals towards the new
achievements. Moreover, study explains the importance of corporate sustainability management
in the hospitality industry. Overall, report will present the concerns areas that has to be taken
seriously.

In present era sustainability is term that can be identified needs of the present without
compromising the ability of figure generations. There are three mains of sustainability economic,
environmental and social (Ali and et.al., 2018). The sustainability belongs to people, planet and
profits. Such as environmental pillars is one of the most important and concerning pillar. Manyt
companies are mainly focused on minimizing their carbon footprint, packaging waste, water
usage. Next the social pillar in which company needs to ensure to get the approval of its
stakeholders and the community it operates in. In which company requires to fulfilling the
employee needs and wants and treat them fairly to being neighbor and community member, both
locally and globally. In order to fulfill the social responsibilities' hospitality industry should take
some good actions against the employee interest. In this way, it will improve culture and
environment at workplace. In terms of society perspective companies facing challenges in term
of providing social benefits to society such as fundraising, sponsorship and scholarship and
investment in local projects.
Economic pillar of sustainability is where the most business feel they are on firm ground.
To be more effective and popular in front of the society it requires to be the best growing

Environmental Issues: There are different issues which affect hospitality industry and it
also been given negative impact on the sustainability. The issue is related to use dirty water
usage in big resorts and hotels have a lot of water from long guest showers and huge pools in
restaurants, they use water for dishes (Bamiatz and et.al., 2016). So overall this is the big issue in
hospitality industry. Besides, Energy usage is one of the second biggest issue which includes
electricity of restaurants, hotels, and resorts as well as the used by tourism. This is the another
big issue towards the sustainability.
Air Pollution is one of the biggest issue in environment which affected by pollution
gases, natural gas, gasoline or coal. Hospitality sector should ensure and avoid such pollution by
adopting the green projects and green environment.
Steps taken by hospitality industry
Install Energy saving technologies: It has been seen that 75% of hotel’s directly affect
the excessive consumption of energy because they are used energy saver tool and equipment’s
which reduce energy saving companies should have installed energy saving efficient
technologies such as lighting, appliances, heating and cooling systems can make a difference for
both the environmental and your hotel bottom line.
Embrace Recycling: This is the another issue due to which amount of waste hotels has
