development is termed as a multidimensional undertaking for attaining higher quality of living
for al types of people. The concept of sustainability often involves happiness, welfare and well-
being of present and future generations. In other words, sustainability is said to maintaining well
being over long period that is even indefinite in nature. It involves environmental dimensions

of resources comprising natural resources, capital addition to quality of environment are beneath
for coming generations. Strong sustainability is considered as series of thresholds which should
never be crosses. However, weak sustainability is termed as yardstick through which policy
results within space are evaluated. Both these kinds of sustainability have vital role in impact
assessment. There are no closer techniques for solving practical problems about the ways to
measure sustainability. Researchers believes that separating requirements of existing from the
one who will come in future is one of sensible way to determine scenarios along with impact of
policies.
A business manager views sustainability as a ability for maintaining resources and others
at certain rate between present and future generations. It is relatively a movement as whole have
roots towards social justice, internationalism, conservationism and so on. It is significant for
maintaining environment quality, driving innovation and hence forth. Organisations have
mission for implementing sustainability practices with the objective of achieving operational
efficiency, increasing employee engagement with initiatives, reducing impacts of business on
