The report references relevant academic sources to support its analysis and provides a concise understanding of how businesses can integrate sustainability into their core operations. The first example of electric vehicles is determined to be a marketing based practice innovation as the same would not only sustain the environmental practices but also will help market and promote the new creative idea of the business organisation. The second example is determined connected to a food manufacturing industry which would implement the changes in producing organic food products and thus reduce the number of harmful wastages incurred out of the inorganic food production. Sustainability- Oriented Innovation
As stated by Rauter, Jonker and Baumgartner (2017), the synergy of sustainability-
oriented innovation is determined to be the aspect in which any business organisation carries
up the changed innovation process in the concern of implementing the sustainability
strategies in the same. In this concern, the two best examples of sustainability-oriented
innovation are specified as under.
Examples of Sustainability- Oriented Innovation
The first example is determined in the concern of motor vehicles firm is using the
synergy of manufacturing the electric cars instead of the cars that uses fuel (Schaltegger,
Ludeke-Freund and Hansen 2016). This will help in the reduction of the emission of the
harmful gases which causes air pollution. This kind of innovation is determined to be a
marketing-based practice innovation as the same would not only sustain the environmental
practices but also will help market and promote the new creative idea of the business
organisation.
The second example is determined connected to a food manufacturing industry which
would implement the changes in producing organic food products and thus reduce the
number of harmful wastages incurred out of the inorganic food production (Ma and Liu

innovation as the same will help in managing the internal waste production of the company
and reduce the pollution caused to the environment.
