PART 2
Identifying and defining
It is first step in which I have to identify and define that what are the ways in which
sustainable model can be implemented. so, here first of all I searched out meaning of
sustainability and how it can be related to designing online work shop. Thus, here I used
technology in it which helped me in analysing that how it can be utilised effectively. In this I
realised that there are many ways of how things are done in better way. for me this was simple
task I had knowledge about both sustainability and technology. But it is necessary for me to
understand design process of model (Elbaz, and et.al., 2018). Alongside, I also defined certain
criteria on basis of which I designed model. I found that a lot of info is available on internet
regarding sustainability. Thus, I gathered that info from various sources. For that I need to
identify needs of community in it and how it can be fulfilled.
Research and planning
This was second step of designing process in which I decided to do some research and
plan that how model is to be developed. however, it was difficult for me. Thus, I took help of an
expert in it. with that it was easy for me to do so. I found that there are two sustainability that is
technological and ecological. Hence, I research some buildings that is build of sand, glass roof,
etc. through which sustainability is maintained. thus, similar images of building I included in my
design. this step was time consuming as it. apart from it, I developed a plan in this which have
me insight about model. In this I searched about sustainability compass and found that it
contained 4 elements in it that are nature, society, well being and economy. So, I integrated these
all in my design process and made it effective way.
Producing and implementing
It is third step in model design to produce and implement. Here, I made a rough sketch of
model so that I get an idea of it. in my view it was difficult for me to me do as I did not have
experience in it. but I used sand, rocks, leaf, etc in designing a model and then relating it with
sustainability. Hence, as I already made a plan in it so I implemented in creative way. it has to be
change in way of how things are done properly (Mueller, 2019). First of all I produced a pre plan
with no changes done into it. then, I made some modification with help of clay, sand, leaf, etc.
to make proper model in it. this created a smooth flow of change in model of sustainability can
be integrated through technology in it. I tested model with few people and took feedback from

my design idea that how well it was. on basis of it I evaluated solution obtained from it. this a
little bit complex for me to do (Provan and et.al., 2019). It is essential that I find out community
needs are met or not. With that it easy for me to analyse future needs and how changes can be
made into models. I applied various testing criteria in it which I already discussed in previous
stage. Hence, it is necessary to test design so that in future changes are made into it.
CONCLUSION
So, it can be concluded that sustainability compass consists of many steps in order to
design a model. There are several stages in it by which model is developed. It is necessary to do
