The sustainability organization refer as the organization which aims to sustain in the
competitive market and it is important for the organization to gain more profits and boost the
business performance as well as gain the competitive advantages in the marketplace. The
sustainability in the organization helps in reduce the business operation cost, the sustainability
helps in enhance the more innovative strategies. The sustainability of organization helps in
improve the reputation of the organization as well as profitability and it attracts the more
customers towards the business and earn more profit and revenues in business (Arnaya and

But, the sustainable innovation leads to the reduction in the energy consumption as well as the
energy cost. For example, Chips Board is a UK based company that uses the chip board's
technology within their business in order to convert the potato wastes as well as coffee ground
into the biodegradable plastics (Kneipp and et.al., 2019). Further, Chips board company uses this
plastics materials to produce the different products such as glasses, frames, buttons etc. In this
way, it can be said that the sustainable innovation helps the company to reduce their high energy
consumption and energy cost. However, on the other hand, the adoption of sustainable
innovation for the Chips Board organization is quite time consuming process. The result of
which the company unable to manage its internal operation properly at the initial stage.

Attract new customers and increase sales:
The sustainable innovation also plays significant role in attracting the new customers
towards the products and services of the businesses in order to enhance sales of the business. It is
analysed from the research that people all over the world are more concerned about the
environment and always support the organization that uses sustainable innovation to produce the
unique goods and services. Green and sustainable practices or technology basically helps the

more conscious of the method company uses to produce goods that have impact over the
environment. Highlighting the initiative of the sustainability For example, Chips Board company
uses the technology to convert the potato waste to the fashion products. Not only that, Chips
board company has also collaborated with the Isabel Fletcher and provide them with the fashion
buttons made up of biodegradable fashion products (Poussing, 2019).
The impact of which the company not only able to increase its individual customers but
also able to increase the business clients. This has ultimately result into the increase sales of the
business. However, on the other hand, it is also analysed that while use sustainable technology
for the purpose of producing products basically causes finance difficulty. It is because this
process or investment in sustainable innovation require high amount of finance or funds. Hence,
before implementing any of such technology within the business, it is important for the company
that they will arrange money for the same (Poussing, 2019). Otherwise, it would result into the
failure of businesses.
Boost employees morale: The sustainability developments and improvements are cooperative
effort. In the organization, workforce work together as a team to identify and implement the
sustainable and green initiatives. It helps in improve the continuously in organization as well as
helps in foster the chips board culture with the team works of employees (Kandavel and

economical and psychological situations. In other words, it is a combination of behaviour which
include the social fundamentals. Sustainability plays a crucial role to manage my current lifestyle
so to use the resources in an effective and efficient manner to protect for the future one's. The
concept of sustainable living is the method of decreasing the consumption of natural resources
while substituting it with the best (Salonen and Hakari, 2018). According to Pete Seeger, if
anything which can't be recycled, reused or reduced then it must be removed from the
production. There are following ways through which I could comply with the sustainability ideas
are:
 Be a member of garden community: The very first change which I should follow is by
joining the hands of garden society which promote sustainable living in the area. It would
help me to grow my own food which is chemical free (Ryan, 2019). The green space is
important for the state of mind and reduce the carbon emissions.
 Apply minimalism: The another important change I could implement is by practice of
minimalism approach that doesn't mean to live without nothing rather it provides a sense
of utilizing the service or product to its maximum by reducing the waste material through
recycling it.

 Using different modes of light: To shift from traditional method of lights to CFL,
skylights and natural light I can significantly reduce the unnecessary consumption of the
energy (Amankwah-Amoah, 2020).
 Natural cleaners: This is the most essential change I can add on as cleaning with the
chemicals and storing them into plastic bags deteriorate the surroundings and vinegar
must be used to clean the surfaces.
 Use cycle: Low consumption of the personal car or motorbike would definitely benefit
the environment and maximizing the use of cycle in my lifestyle would also improve my
health. This would directly improve the quality of life and enhance the sustainability
living.
 Ban plastic use in the house: Reducing the use of plastic is one of the biggest goal for
every nation as it badly affect the ecology. I should strictly ban the use of plastic
materials by switching to paper bags and avoiding use of plastic bags.
 Utilize sustainable technologies: I should start using rechargeable batteries, establish
solar plant, use electric vehicle or by donating old devices to the NGOs or the other kids.
 Purchase regional products: The more emphasis should be placed on the local market
to avoid the transportation which would reduce the carbon consumption and I should use
local vendors for purchasing vegetables & fruits. This could be bought with the help
cycle.
 Use recycle toilet paper: I must shift from traditional toilet paper to recycled toilet
paper which could be sustainable game-changer. There is a company “Who Gives a
Crap” which is offering eco-friendly tissues and paper towels resulting in saving the
number of trees.
 Install low-flow shower: To save water I should comply with the shower timer,
showerhead technique to effectively use the water or by installing an innovative machine
for toilet buddy to save water while flushing.
CONCLUSION
As the conclusion, the sustainable products is referred as those products which are
provided the social, environmental and economic benefits as well as protecting the environment
and public health over the whole life cycle. It is the process from the activity of raw materials

until the last disposal. There are various sustainable products such as coffee cups, plastic waste,
etc. the product sustainability management is activity to manage the product processing stages
and it helps in minimize the environments negative impact. In the conclusion, the chips board
business is developing the bio plastics as well as bio plastic composites which are eco-friendly
for the environments and protect the citizen health. This report discussed the importance of
sustainable innovation in the organization as well as reflective on the current lifestyles and
activities and learning during the sustainable innovation ideas. The product sustainability also
elaborated with the chips boards company.
