MAIN BODY
The increasing carbon emissions is considered as one of the major issue for every country
belonging to European Union. In the recent times, due to the advanced development of
technology carbon emissions has emerged as a major threat for the company. It is crucial role of
a business entities in tough times to reduce carbon emissions for development of safe and
sustainable practices (Soderstrom, and Heinze,2021). The European Union has set the target to
reduce carbon emissions and done it neutrally by the year 2030. All major companies in western
world should analyse the importance of environment and control their carbon emissions by the
year 2030. In order to develop effective measures to control carbon emissions, it is crucial for the
business entities to adopt ozone-friendly policies and plans (Fennelly, and Perry, 2020). The
implementation of these policies and plans in a systematic manner will help the companies to
emit less carbons. It is essential for the companies and organisations to follow ethical practices in
development of carbon friendly policy for long term business development and success. The
implementation of plans related to carbon emissions policy should be done with proper
supervision and control for achievement of optimum results. Government is also considered as
one of the key stakeholder which will help the business entity to achieve different types of
organisational goals and objectives.
The main body in the whole world which is concerned with the climate change is United
Nations Framework convention on climate change. The COP26 was the 26th meeting of the body
which was held in Paris for the better development of environment. The UNFCCC was adopted
in the year 1992 and is considered as a major point for world's most important meeting on
climate change. Practical action at COP26 will be helpful in dealing with climate change in a
major sense as it is most climate vulnerable. In the COP26, the practical action team will share
different lessons and amplify the voices of communities which are indulged in working for
climate change (Jain, Saikia, and Rakshit, 2020). Mass awareness development is a major aspect
which will be facilitated by different participants to promote climate change. The practical action
an active member of Zurich flood resilience Alliance which is a global multi-sector partnership
that builds community resilience to floods, a climate and weather related hazard which can
impact on various people (Wirtenberg, Russell, and Lipsky, 2017). The main five targets of
company includes limit warming to 1.5 degree Celsius, scale up climate finance, address loss and

damage, drive inclusive action and promote solutions that Work for People and Nature (Practical
action for Controlling carbon emissions, 2022).
European Union is involved in taking effective and precise actions which are helpful in
development of a target plan. The target plan's main objective is to cut greenhouse gas emissions
by at least 55% by 2030 sets European on a responsible path to becoming climate neutral by the
year 2050. The European Union is planning to get more ambitious path for the coming 10 years
in order to perform assessment of whole economy and society can contribute. The major
objectives of European Union is to set a more precise and cost reliable path to achieving climate
neutrality by 2030 (Pathak, Singh, and Badhotiya, 2020). The European Union is also ready to
develop green jobs and involve in cutting down greenhouse gas emissions along with focus on
growing economy. The creation of green jobs will help the economy to promote sustainable
green practices (Jose, and Chacko, 2017). The European Union will promote international
partners to develop ambition to limit the development in world temperature to 1.5 degree C. The
2030 ambition will help the policymakers and investors to do not lock in emission levels
inconsistent with European Union target (Plan of European Union to deal with climate change,
2022). It is essential for a business entity to follow rules and regulations developed by
government in order to lead the marketplace. The Paris agreement's major objective is global
temperature increase to below 2 degree C and pursue efforts to keep it to 1.5 C. 2030 based
climate target plan will include different types of legislative proposals led by EU to neutralise
climate change and greenhouse effects.
It is also consider in climate change to consider stakeholder input which is handled with a
public consultation inviting stakeholders and citizens. There are over 4000 contributions were
summarised and informed the development of plan. These steps taken by European Union will
also help different companies to analyse key goals and objectives with help and support of
different targets (Moayerian, McGehee, and Stephenson, 2022). It is also one of the crucial role
of citizens of the society and companies to follow various policies and plans implemented by
European Union for success. In the recent times, it is very much crucial for companies to focus
on emitting less amount of greenhouse gases for country development (Olubiyo, 2022). It is also
major duty of government to support policies and framework developed by European Union for
leading at the marketplace.

development of sustainable goals and practices for leading the marketplace. This project

planning framework for the company. In this report, it can be concluded that by the year 2030, it
