INTRODUCTION
Sustainable organisation refers to the type of organisation which follows the principle of
sustainable development. In simple terms, it refers to a type of organisation that performs their
operations in an effective way as they cannot impact on the environment or the society. To build
a sustainable organisation, the firm has to follow a variety of stages (Dziubaniuk and Nyholm,
2020). The sustainability is important in the business as it can provide a success opportunity to
them. If the firm is a sustainable organisation, it can create a competitive image and increases the
needs of the sustainable goods in the market. In this report, we discuss about the concept of
sustainability and its impact on the competitive benefits for the organisations. The report also
discuss about the attributes and capabilities which are needed by the organisation so as to
succeed in their goals.

Concept of sustainability
It refers to the concept of fulfillment of the current needs but not comprising with the future
generation needs. In simple terms, it refers to an quality that maintains the procedure over time.
And it is generally broke down into three more concepts, that is, economic, environmental, and
social. There are most of the companies in the world who consider to be as sustainable
organisation as to maintain the resources in an effective way. The sustainability provides several
benefits to the firm such as it introduces a new or upbringing environment to the firm as they can
solve most of the problems in an efficient manner. When the sustainable organisation has come
up in the market, it can generate needs of the sustainable goods more rather than the general
goods. As because every consumer willing is to change their habits and switch it to the
environmental related goods. And it prove to be a great opportunity for the firms so as to
improve their revenue (Wong and Ngai, 2021). In today's world, sustainability is the most vital
element as to consider success in the organisation. To make a sustainable organisation, they has
to consider the three principles or pillars of them. The first one is the environmental pillar which
gives the main focus on the reducing the harm to the environment as to consider this, the firm
has to be make sure that should use the packaging from the recycled materials. The next

principle of sustainability is social as the company has to focus on their involvement or
engagement activities through scholarships and sponsorships. The last principle or pillar of the
sustainability is economic as it brings the organisation with the sustainability strategies.
Impact of sustainability on the long-term competitive benefits for organisations.
The term competitive advantage refers to a type of factors that permits the organisation as to
manufacture the goods as cheaper as they can. As we all know that there are a variety of
businesses who consider the important aspects so that it can provide them an enough power or a
control to the market. As because of this, the products and services are became more desirable as
they can. And it proves to be a special quality as compared to the competitors. To get the social
support and appraisal, the company has to work with the concept of sustainability as it can helps
them to provide a competitive image in the market. If the company adopts sustainability in their
workplace, it can proves to be a great offer to the customers as because most of the customers
wants to invest in the environmental related goods instead of the local goods. The sustainability
can helps the organisation to attract individuals so that they can become the stakeholders of the
company. If any firm wants to copy the idea of sustainability of another firm, it can be very
tough for them as because it is the unique idea that consider success in the organisation. There is
a famous organisation who consider the idea of sustainability in their workplace and it is best
known for its operations and digital technology. They reduces the emission of carbon and
awakes their workers about that which builds a reputative image in the market (Bish, Becker and
Irmer, 2022).

is detailed below-
Adaptability- It is referred to be as the quality of the organisation. It discuss about the
giving up of the existing skills and builds up with the new skills. As to survive in the
market, the organisation has to adapt the changes in an effective way.

Collaboration- It is also the quality of the organisation as because of this, the work can
be completed in an effective manner. If there is a higher level of collaboration in the firm,
it can prove to be a more boosting performance of them (Koutsopoulos, 2021).
Leadership- It is generally a set of peoples who at the senior level of the organisation.
As it is a capability of the firm to inspire or motivate the employees of the organisation in
order to accomplish their goals in a better way. If the firm uses great leadership style,
they can lead their employees in an effective way which can bring better results to them.
CONCLUSION
In this report, it is to be concluded that sustainability is a quality or a special attribute that the
firm has to adopt as to consider great success in the market. The report also discuss about the
impact of sustainability on the long term competitive benefits for the organisation as because of
this, the company can attain a great and reputative image in the market as compared to the
competitors. The report covers the few attributes and capabilities that the firm has to consider as
to attain success. As they has to adopt to the new changes in an effective way which leads to
attract more customers.
