INTRODUCTION
In the 21 ST century sustainability is being concerned is one of the major concern
because of concerns i.e. global warming. It is very important for the people of the society as well
as for the organisations to focus on developing the sustainability so that a welfare based nation
has been developed(Cheng and et. al., 2019). In the present era, mostly all the organisations are
focus on developing different types of policies and plans which assist in bringing development in
sustainability. In order to understand the dimensions of sustainability and user-friendliness in
better manner an example of electric vehicles and cars has been taken into consideration. The
following report is going to covers the detailed research of the EV industry and critically
evaluate that whether they are sustainable or not. This report also focus on that how EV's
industry reducing the carbon emissions and slow down the climate change. Afterword, this report
cover a reflection on the current lifestyle and a reflection on how an individual comply with
sustainability ideals.

which is being considered as the major sign of sustainability. The market of electric cars are in
boom if latest stats are taken into account. The sales of the Electrical vehicle cars is increase by
around 76.3 % in the year 2021 which leads nation to green economy. According to the research
it has been estimated that around 400000 electric cars runs on the road of UK and around 75000
plugs in hybrid station open at the end of year 2022. According to the statistics of electric car
market, the respective market is developing in a very rapid manner. Along with this the electric
cars create less noise pollution as compared to petrol vehicles within the nation which is very for
the country (Mendoza, Gallego-Schmid and Azapagic, 2019). The operations are done within the
electric cars industry of UK in silent manner, which is beneficial for the whole economy in a
precise and systematic manner. According to the market research it also been identified that
United Kingdom have more electric charging stations as compared to petrol pumps. As of the
may 2020, the data which is collected form the market shows that public charging point are more

as within the UK as compared to the petrol pumps. The green license plates are also plan by the
government of United Kingdom to be introduces for the electric vehicles. Recently, an electric
Jaguar SUV is bought by the Prince Charles and also with this they also installed fast electric car
charger. This is a fact that, in every 9 minutes a new electric car is registered in UK which is a
great figure. In order to grow EV industry within the UK the government of the nation provide
subsidy as well support to the electric car manufacturing organisation, so that they can achieve the
best result in a very effective manner. The support which is being provided by the higher
authorities of the nation developed an enthusiasm with in the EV companies and also enhance the
sustainable practices.
In the last few years the electric vehicles market of United Kingdom is developing in a very
rapid manner. According to the market research it has been determined that the demand of E-
vehicle is doubling from the last years. The investment of the electric vehicles industry was around
54 billion GBP in the year 2019. But now the figures has changed, the investment has increases to
80 billion GBP in the month of January 2022. Different types of strategies has been developed by
the authorities of the nation(Pickett, 2021). These strategies assist the EV industry to overcome
form the issues and challenges which are faced by them like less tax has been charged by the
government on the Electric vehicle and also provide subsidy on the purchasing of EV's. Different
types of obstacles as well as hurdles has been faced by the EV industry which make a huge impact
on its cost. The government of United Kingdom have to play an important role by focusing on
developing different types of plans and schemes which assist in systematic development of the EV
industry. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic different types of difficulties has been faced by the EV
industry in manufacturing the cars, they try their level best to perform well in the market of UK. It
is the responsibility of an electric car manufacturing organisation is to develop more efficient
vehicles as compared to conventional vehicles(Kelly and et. al., 2019). The organisations who are
engaged in manufacturing of the electric vehicle at the national and international market majorly
focus on promoting the environmental based practices. The one of the most important ethical
responsibility of the Electric vehicles manufacturing company is that they have to paid focus on
analysing the key development which are based on the goals and objectives for sustainability. In
the coming five years a major change has been seen in the electric market of UK. The usage of
electric vehicle is increases because of the increase in the petrol. All the organisation who are
engaged in electric vehicle manufacturing demand support form the government so that they can

grow their industry. Along with this, the guidelines which are issued by the nation government
have to be followed by the EV manufacturing companies in order to provide sustainable vehicles to
general public. No pollution is create by the electric vehicles, that is why these vehicles are truly

2020).

reducing the environmental climate change but also help in decreasing the carbon emission as
compared to the conventional vehicles. The conventional vehicles has a huge adverse impact on
the climate of the nation which result in increasing the carbon emission day to day. If electric
vehicles are manufacture in a very large manner then this result in less utilization of resources.
Then this impact on the environment in a positive manner and also assist in reducing the carbon
emission. Due to the use of conventional vehicles in a large manner the amount of carbon has been
increase which not only impact on the environment of the nation in bad manner but also affect the
life of individuals. Peoples are not feeling safe to take the breath in the cities this result in that
many problems related to the health issues has been faced by them and this also decreases the
human lives (Sushma, 2020). If the Electric vehicles are manufactured in a very large manner then
this not only reduce the carbon emission but also clean the environment which increases the life-
long of the human lives. An effective step have to be taken by the government of the nation in
order to reduce the use of conventional vehicle and increase the use of electric vehicle. Along with
this, the government also have to paid focus on the different services related to the electric vehicles
so that people of the society used easily, feel good as well as comfortable and easily adapt this
changes in their life. In order to do this, they have to ban the sailing of the conventional vehicle so
that people have no option in front of them instead of buying electric vehicle (Jensen and et. al.,
2018). If this is execute by the government in proper manner then this reduced the use of
conventional vehicle automatically and also decrease the emission of carbon which result in clean
the environment.
According to the research it has been observed that people of the society prefer to travel in
the public transport on daily basis work, because it is cheap as compared to the other transport
services. If electric buses as well as taxies are start by the government of the nation then this make
a positive impact on the climate of the country. As the technology is upgraded, the electric vehicles

are manufacture in a very effective manner with the help of update resources which not only help
in reducing the carbon emission but also help in cleaning the environment. The people of the UK
prefer the electric vehicles over the conventional vehicle this result in that the environment
condition of the UK is improving(Chofreh, Goni and Klemeš, 2018) . Along with this, they don't
use those equipment which impact on the environment in a negative manner. The individuals of the
nation adapts these changes in a very fast manner which is very beneficial for the environment.

In my personal life, I am very passionate about the sustainability and its applications to
develop effectiveness. I usually prefer only those practices which assist me in taking care of the
environment. Electric car is being used by me which create zero carbon emission and pollution.
A also give advice to my friends, colleagues and family member to use the electric vehicle to
travel form one place to another. For maintaining as well as reducing the level of pollution,
sustainability is one of the greatest idea in my opinion which are developed by the higher
authorities of the nation. All the organisation who are engaged in the manufacturing of the
motor vehicle within the UK, now shifting from petrol vehicle to electric vehicle in order to
survive in the market and for the long term growth of the economy. In my opinion the key to
keep the environment clean or safe is low or less pollution. To protect the environment, I always
focus on using the less paper in my daily life. Along with this, I also gave advice to my friends
and my family members to use the Eco friendly products as well as the techniques in order to
keep the environment safe and secure. In addition to this I always follow the three principle to
keep the surrounding safe i.e. reduce, reuse and recycle.
A strategic planning framework has also been developed by me in order to comply with
major sustainability ideals, due to this my focus towards the sustainability is increase in this
competitive scenario. During the research I found that air pollution has been increases day by
day and in future this create a major problem for the youth. Along with this, the rules and
regulation which are made by the government of the nation are not properly follow by the
people. In order to develop the best sustainable practices citizen have to follow all the norms.
The ethical as well as the sustainable practices which are thought by my teacher to me assist me

in comply with sustainability based ideas. I am also planning to spread the awareness related to
the electric good which help in promoting the sustainable practices. If the government of the UK
wants to increase the gross green index, then it is very important for them to develop the
different strategies which are based on goals and objectives.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that sustainable practices plays a very
important role in developing a positive environment. This is very essential for the survival of the
humanity. This report concluded that the main role of the sustainability is to spread the
awareness about the practices which is very good for the environment. The pollution which are
created by the petrol vehicles harm the environment in a very negative manner. Strategic actions
has been concluded in this report which are taken by the government in order to deal with all the
problems related to the sustainability. The importance of electric vehicles within the economy of
UK in order to reduce the pollution has also been concluded in this report.
