essential. It involves both the individuals and the organizations having the responsibility for
ensuring the output.Social enterprises
Social enterprises accounts for the businesses which has a specific social need which
is its primary objective. It seeks to maximising the benefits to the society and the
environment. The profits generated by it is mainly utilized for funding the social programs

Social enterprises UK. 2021). Such enterprises exist in every sector ranging from consumer
goods to the healthcare to creative agencies, restaurants etc. there are over 100,000 social
enterprises across UK which results into contributing £60 billion to the economy along with
that providing employment to 2 million people as well.

For the social enterprises in order to attain the desired goals and objectives are
needed to comply with the various project management practices such as specifically meeting
up with the specific governance disclosures.
Specific Governance disclosures by Sainsbury and Ocado and a not-for-profit organization,

difference between the governance disclosures made by the three organizations. May be the

determines the number of members requires in a meeting, membership, minutes of meetings,

Audit committee report
The audit committee report is a very important part of governance disclosure which
reviews the integrity of the financial information before publishing it and it also oversees the
system of internal control or the risk management in addition to providing approval for the
internal and external audit process. Along with that, it provides information about the in-

Nomination committee report
Chaired Lord Rose, his report provides assurance that the recent appointments made
by the organization is the right fit which will help in meeting up with the strategic needs for
both present and future. It provides complete analysis of the Board composition; succession
plans and talent development. In addition, how the new appointees will be working and their
roles and responsibilities.
Audit committee report
The audit committee report is also prepared by Ocado group which reveals the

objective of the remuneration policy of the company and the way in which it is attaining it.
British Heart Foundation
Board Leadership and division of responsibility
On this side, the board is responsible for the governance and strategy of the
organization. The board of Trustees is having the responsibility for the actions of BHF. The
board is made up of 14 trustees involves mix of medically qualified and lay members. The
division of responsibility is important responsibility of the board. They delegate daily
activities for running the organization to the executive groups. The board has even approved
and adopted the conflict-of-interest policy and code of conduct.
Nomination committee report
Chaired by Dr Doug Gurr, the nomination committee here is responsible for
recommending individuals for the purpose of appointment and re-appointment as the
member of Board of Trustees which involves conducting skill audits, monitoring the
induction and training programme for the trustees. In addition to this, it is also responsible

committees. It involves selection of the Chief Executive, Medical Director and so forth.
Audit committee report
BHF involves audit and risk committee report which provides the outcomes based

financial and non-financial in nature. It provides information on the role and effectiveness of
the internal audit functions and recommends for the changes. This committee suggests
external auditor for the BHF and recommend reserves policies and approval processes for
the non-audit services.
Remuneration report
The Remuneration and People Committee in BHF is answerable for guaranteeing
that reasonable and compelling plans are set up for the examination of the Chief Executive,
and for deciding and routinely evaluating the expansive senior administration compensation
