indirectly associated with a corporation. They are
classified as employees, suppliers, investors, creditors,
pressure groups and so on. They have significant
impacts from policies, objectives and decisions of an
organisation. Stakeholders in context to tourism
development are investors, employees, supporting
authorities, local community and tourists.

Benefits to stakeholders from planning of tourism developments.
Planning for tourism development provides various benefits to different stakeholders. Planning
procedures includes formulating future plans along with several activities, setting goals that helps in
grabbing opportunities, developing alternatives, evaluating alternatives, making final choice of
alternative, formulating derivative plans, securing participation, establishing sequences to conduct
activities, implementing plans and evaluating results.

Effectively executing sustainable tourism plans depends on distinct stakeholders. For development
of destinations of Qatar, key stakeholders consists of people from the country of Qatar such as
developers, local government, tourist, host community, regulatory bodies and so on. Some of the key
advantages of stakeholders are as follows:
Tourists: Tourists are the people who travel as well as visits various destinations to attain pleasure. They
make investments to enjoy different places.
