Introduction
• The presentation includes the concept of sustainable
tourism in Qatar
•This presentation consists the factors which are responsible
for the growth of tourism in Qatar.
•This presentation explain the different stages which are used
in sustainable tourism of Qatar.

P 3.1 Justify the introduction of the concept of
sustainability in tourism development with reference Qatar.
•Sustainable Tourism development consists the
economic, environment and social impacts in the
tourism.
• Sustainable tourism includes to identifying the
requirements of visitors, industry trends etc.
•As per the Qatar, the economy rate extends up to the
6.4 % growth by the tourism. In 2016.

•The Qatar have great places for the visitors. I t is a sustainable
tourism which achieves the growth in tourism.
•The environment available in Qatar decreases the factors of
tourism.
•The economy affects the tourism very much . It increases the
tourism when the economy rate is stable
•The social effects also used in maintaining the tourism.

P3.2 Analyze factors that prevent sustainable
tourism development with reference to Qatar
• One of the factor is the innovation of monuments and
different heritage sites.
•The other factor is to make the tourist places feasible
and carry out the problems like pollution, congestion
etc.
• The major factor which hinders the tourism is to
developed new buildings, monuments and many new
constructions are made.
• Monuments are made, roads are made and restaurants
are made due to the place becomes an identity.

• The old monuments had lost their
identity due to the new constructions of
the buildings.
• The rate of land is increases due to the
new constructions.
• The attraction of tourists becomes
reduce due to all these factors.

P 3.3 Analyze different stages in planning
for sustainability for the type of tourism.
Following steps are need to do planning for the
sustainability of the tourism:
• There are many time frames which are used in the plan
of sustainability.
• In this stage the identification of stakeholders which are
related with the industry of tourism.
• In this stage, to attract the tourism, the places have a
proper potential.

• In this stage, consulting is needed from the
different stake holders of the tourism.
•In this stage, analyzation of different factors
are done.
•Now, the time to maintain the ideas for the
proper sustainable tourism.

Conclusion
• In this presentation , different factors are analyzed to
prevent the hinders of the sustainable tourism.
• The different stages of the planning in the tourism
development of Qatar is discussed.
•The introduction of sustainable tourism is also studied
