Regardless of the travelling being done by different tourists across the world, staying at
home is having something different feelings. This cannot be compared with any others and so it
is well expected that the same homely ambience will be received in different tourist destinations
and yes it is received as well. Almost all the hotels and accommodation facilities are trying their
best to provide the best services to the guests but are this still comparable with the homely
ambience? Is the service process and practices being strictly followed in the hotels practiced in
home also? No. Thus, the gap is still there between the informal and causal homely environment
with the highly formal practices in hotels.

In this situation, the home stay concepts come in the picture, which can offer affordable
yet ideal homely environment to the guest. There are not a single tourist who will not prefer the
local cuisines and cultures of the destination. The concept of the home stay is now well

the proper desired services from them. Let’s take an example, what is the point of visiting the
Maori regions in New Zealand if the tourists cannot experience their cultures and lifestyles?

all but it will surely match the preferences and expectations of the tourists.
In the recent time, the concept of sustainability is closely being preferred by the tourists,

services are being done by employing the local backward communities and thus the revenue
generated from these services are in turn helping in economic development of the society. Hence,
no one will prefer to get away this opportunity in their next tour plan.
