Introduction
 Sustainable tourism refers to the tourism that take places full of accounts
for future and current economic, environmental and social impact so that
it can address the need of the visitors.
 It is important for tourism by keeping the healthy environments and
make others happy, also it increases the efficiency of resources.
 In addition to this, it focuses on grabbing attention of people in order to
improve tourist’s experience by addressing the needs of the host
community.
 This prestation is based on the case study of London as a tourism
destination.

Critical analysis of sustainable and responsible
policies, practices at Landon
 There are various policies of sustainable management such as
optimum utilization of resources, efficient implication of
economic operation, reduce the wastage of resources, organic
product development etc.
 These policies will help to ensure that the specific goal of
sustainable and tourism management can be achieved.
 London is one of the best leading tourism it attracts tourist in large numbers
there are 20.14 million international visitors in 2019, also it is making one of
the best and most visited place in the world.

Issues and challenges of implanting sustainable
policies and strategies
 Reduce customer base due to the lack of acceptance: People are from different background and culture, it becomes
tough for tourist to adopt sustainable policies of other country.
 Transportation: Transportation is big challenge for implementing sustainable strategies.
 Lack of stakeholder support: due to the lack of participation and support it becomes a challenge to implement
sustainable strategies and policies into practices.
 To set the optimum (usable) level of standard for Assets: it is a big challenge to set clear standard for taking optimum
advantage of available resources.
 Huge amount of money required: due to the unawareness of sustainable and responsible management, people are not
at position of taking optimum advantage of available resources.

Theories and models of sustainable and
responsible management
 Theories of sustainable development is connected with corporate, stakeholder and green economics. Moreover, the major purpose of these theories are to
organise the principle in such a way which enhance the environment and human development.
 According to the Armenia and et.al. (2019), point of view, it is important to use the resources by sustainable methods in order to maintain the ecological
process by preventing the biodiversity and natural heritage of the globe.
 According to the Trindade and et.al., (2017) view it is stated the theory which define that tourism is the combination of the curiosity to find out new and
unique experiences with the need of security to familiar reminders like home.
 For example, There are so many places which are most visited such as St. Paul's, Buckingham Palace, British museum
etc. Also, Tate Modern is attracted more than 1.4 million visitors in the years.

Recommendation
 Tourism industry in Landon should adopt ethical practices such as reduce the wastage of resources, pollutant
free vehicles, reusable product etc.
 It should also contribute to the society and economy by supporting the local restaurant, small businesses for
the multiple meals.
 It should also improve the truism experience in Landon by providing eco-friendly environment to increase
their revenue.
 It should also follow all the 3 r’s of sustainable tourism management which include reuse, recycle and reduce.
 Involve the local people while taking any decision this will increase their motivation, respect and comfortable
environment.

Conclusion
 Sustainable and responsible development is necessary for preventing local culture and environment of Landon.
 Landon tourism designation adopt some policies and practices to make their environment free form harming
chemicals and pollutants so that visitor can create unique and memorable experience.
 Moreover, in order to maintain the interest of the tourist, government of Landon has faced some issue and challenges
such as optimum utilization of resources, recycle etc. to implement the sustainable strategies.
 Further, some theories and models of sustainable policies have been discussed. Moreover, I have learnt and
implemented some decision making and analytical skill for preparing presentation. As I got an opportunity to explore
my knowledge in the field of sustainable and responsible tourism.
