INTRODUCTION
Tourism management (TM) may be described as practices carried out by all the agencies
functioning under the tourism sector for reason of researching a tour location, creation all
preparations related to travel, preparing the whole trip etc. This also involves publicity related
activities that are accomplished to draw attention of significant numbers of visitors (Shen,
Sotiriadis and Zhou, 2020). The basis of this project report is study of justifiable and accountable
TM. This assignment discusses numerous subjects like identifying the key characteristics of
viable and accountable tourism, and evaluating the value of sustainability preparation for tourist
industry growth. In addition, the implementation of the conceptions of viable and accountable
tourism management and principles are also enclosed in the report.
TASK 1
P1 Analysis of theory of viable and accountable tourism.
Viable and accountable tourism is an important aspect that all tourism industry businesses
need to concentrate on, as it allows them to better carry out all the activities and fulfil consumer
standards. There are vital range of areas that are concentrated while making attention towards
this (Agapito and Chung-Shing, 2019). These aspects are helping in conducting all
environmentally sustainable practices which are raising, reused and recycled. As well as
providing benefits to local community in terms of economic and social benefits. Beyond this, it
also reflects on policies relating to the conservation of cultural and natural heritage, while
ensuring that sustainable and accountable tourism operations are carried out or not. Accountable
tourism focuses primarily on how locals and tourists communicate with a destination they are
visiting. It is really necessary for all companies to pay attention to their three aspects which are
Economics, wealth and climate in order to achieve stability in the travel segment.
P2 Key importance, objectives of a company that is aligned with advertising of tourism.
Tourism is one of the great source of finance for a nation. Thus, this is crucial for
companies to manage overall activities in an effective manner. These companies are needed to be
involve in promotion of viable and accountable tourism. Some common example of these types
of companies are United Nation World tourism organisation, The long run initiative and many

United Nation World tourism company that is involved in promotion of tourism at global level.
Herein, below key roles, functions and missions of these kinds of companies are mentioned
below in such manner:
Role: The World Tourism Organization's key function is to encourage tourism internationally so
that greater economic prosperity can be accomplished. Another role of this is to ensure that
environmental protection is encouraged in order to improve tourism around the globe.
Functions: World tourism organisation has below mentioned functions which are as follows:
Encourage all travel destinations to better preserve their layout and design so that they
can effectively draw vast numbers of visitors from various places around the world.
Making promotion of tourism all around the world so that economy of nation can be
boost (Yu, Wang and Marcouiller, 2019).
In addition, focusing on environment sustainability so that tourism level can be enhanced
in an effective manner.
Supporting the tourism industry in developing awareness and formulating appropriate
strategies in order to meet all the targets that are planned for the future.
In regards with above mentioned analysis this can be stated that the World Tourism Organization
is involved in supporting tourism across the world by carrying out numerous programs for
making sustainably. It executes all the roles of it for the purpose of enhancing economic
development.
Mission: The World Tourism Organization's key mission is to increase awareness about these
initiatives that all tourism industry organizations need to work on in order to draw vast numbers
about visitors from various places around the globe.

of different visitors who enter the country for a different purpose. It's also helpful in improving a
nation's reputation. Another tourism goal is to provide a nation's citizens with jobs. They are
expected to provide visitors with housing, accommodation, transport and other facilities essential
for a nation's travel.
Principles of tourism development-
Tourism needs to provide jobs in nation and a connection must be formed between it and
local companies that is important for revenue group. This can also resolve the issue of
unemployment in other nations.
Proper training and education projects need to continue to raise knowledge of the nation's
tourism locations and heritage spots. It's needed to encourage people to learn about this
by providing more information to them.
Tourism implementation should be with the inputs from the group and its power should
remain with that specific community.
A code for tourism at various levels-global, regional and local-must be defined according

development and planning are mentioned in such manner that is as follows:
Recognizing market trends: This is initial step that allows tourism segment agencies to
evaluate industry dynamics so that necessary improvements can be made in the way
tourism development. In addition, under this stage all aspects of market trend are
evaluated with an aim of creation of new policies (Cunha, Kastenholz and Carneiro,
2020).
Setting objectives accordingly: In this stage, after making the improvements the tourists
seek to set new targets for themselves. Many of the targets are set in keeping with the
industry circumstance and the present market environment. Here objectives are
established based on changing patterns in the industry.
Execution of plans to complete targets: This is third level of tourist growth planning
process in which tourism attractions board attempts to devise new approaches to attract
significant numbers of visitors. For example, if a target of raising the number of tourists
by 10% is set, then plans must be implemented properly so that all the required objectives
can be achieved effectively.
Doing regular changes in way of advertising: This is the final stage of tourist growth
and preparation process in that tourist locations are seeking to make improvements to the
form or way of marketing that they are actually using. Through this all desirable targets
