 Qatar's concept of sustainability is focused on meeting the needs of the present without
compromising the needs of the future. The sustainability of the country consists of three pillars
social, economical and environmental which are also known as people, profits and planet.
 It has been observed that since the past the country's economic growth is only done by the selling
of crude oil. Oil has made the country to arrive in the list of countries causing large environmental
damages. Qatar has adopted a variety of sustainable measures in order to tackle these
environmental changes and make the country more environmental friendly along with the increase
in its tourism.
