Rational of study
Tourism is one of the most important and remarkable socio-economic phenomena as the
growing interest of people globally. It is forming as an industry which in the present scenario is
the main element for raising economy in both developed and developing nations. It is free to
utilise free natural and cultural resources for development and to promote tourism and attract
visitors. Its impact create the opportunity for enhancing employment, and positively forms the
redistribution of wealth and increase the economies. There is a need of balance and negotiation
in these objectives to compete and provide opportunities for wider development. This research is
mainly focused on understanding the needs of sustainable tourism development and promoting
the National parks of UK. These areas are protected under the Sustainable Tourism Initiative
(STI) that encourages people for supporting in protecting the parks and developing awareness for
increasing the interest of local and national tourist. It also focuses to protect the environment for
future as in tourism the main cause of providing harm to environment is through the emissions
coming from transportation. This study focuses to increase the awareness to utilise the local
transportation and help in generating sustainable tourism and protecting the natural environment
for future generation.

employment and income. Further it also provides a proper concept for the improvement of
ecotourism initiatives. Sustainable Tourism include a strong commitment toward the nature,
social responsibility and the integration of local people on a tourist operation. Further the
sustainability development approach can be applied at any aspect of tourism development. As
because sustainability is depended on the way the planning is undertaken related to preventing
the society, economy and environment and the effectiveness of plan and implementation.. As per
the view of Nicholas and Thapa, (2010), environment sustainability tourism assist in creating
less impact on natural resources, particularly in protected area. It leads to reduce damage to the
environment such as habitats, water living, flora etc. Basically it helps in providing benefit to the
environment. Further sustainable development assist in keeping safe social and culture. Iit
prevent from the harm to the culture of the community and social structure. Along with this it
also respects different types of culture and traditions. For its planning there are different types of
stakeholders are involved in it such as tour operator, government, communities etc. As per the
view of Stoddard, Pollard and Evans, (2012), explained that sustainable development assist in
economic development. Further it helps in providing employment and generate the national
income. Along with this, it provides benefits to the employees, neighbours and owners. There are
many contexts which indicate that tourism is not a smokeless industry. Author suggested that
national park of UK is not managed effectively then it leads to lower the demand of tourism.
Many time's tourism provide such accused of destruction which is done by them. As because
there are many times visitors are destroyed the destination by their own. It is basically done with
the national park destination which is highly resources sensitive. In order to reduce the negative
impact and increase the opportunity it is important to planned and managed effectively the
tourism activity (Stanford and Guiver, 2016). There is increase in demand of the sustainable
tourism from the side of people who like to enjoy adventure travel, nature tourism and
ecotourism.

tourism development in the country.
Research approach- This approach helps in carrying out the study in the best
possible manner by implementing strategies which are essential for the research.
The researcher can use these two types of approaches that includes inductive and
deductive approaches. To carry out the research on analysing the factors that
influence the sustainable tourism development in the country and it will be
implemented by using inductive approach(Font, Garay and Jones, 2016 ). It is
done as it helps in bringing out the more specific research and information that is
required for the researcher to carry out the research.
Research design- It is linked with the key problem and designing the more
specific systematic plan that will help in analysing the research design such as
descriptive, exploratory, case study etc. In the present report exploratory research
design will be used to identify the key factors that are for the sustainable tourism
development. This design will also help in analysing the need to protect the
sustainable research development(Kalra, Phadnis and Joshi, 2017. ).
Data collection- This is the process in which data is collected from different
techniques and sources that are helpful in carrying out the objectives of the
information and on a particular topic. The data collection is the process where
different data is collected through different means as primary and secondary. To
conduct the research that helps in sustainable tourism development and the
sources will be taken into consideration. Primary data is collected and secondary
data is gathered through books and journals.
Sampling- It can be identified as an effective process in which different people or
sample are selected with an objective to gather primary information. Moreover, it
can be classified into two categories that is probabilistic and non-probabilistic.
The data collected is sampled according to the requirement of the research and it
is done for the purpose of attaining more specific and required information from
the collected data(Landau, Mitnik and Lev-Ari, 2016. ).
Data analysis- It is the process in which different tools are being used in order to
analyse or evaluate the information collected from various sources to find out

2.1 Match the resources efficiently to the research questions
In the present report to make the research paper effective different resources are used and
undertaken efficiently. The report is made reliable and more valid with the use of some financial
and physical resources. There is a relation between the resources and the questions used for
research which states that resources are utilised for generating questions whereas, financial
resources are helpful to gather data and also utilised to develop and prepare questionnaire. The
research questions are developed on the basis of generating effective results for the research
paper. These questions are evaluated from the requirement to increase the required effectiveness
in the development of the economic conditions of the country.
2.2 Undertaking the proposed research investigation
The research methodology is organised in a way so to know the need to promote
effectiveness in sustainable tourism development and its requirement in promoting National
Parks in UK. It focuses on using a different methods by which the sustainable tourism can be
achieved and also increase its effectiveness for further development in National parks. The
present report is being developed by using the descriptive and interpretative research design so to
make the research more effective. The aim and motive of the researcher in the report is to
identify the needs and effectiveness of the sustainable tourism development in the National parks
of UK. To evaluate the purpose of requirement the researcher has used inductive research
approach, that implements on researching general information and then focuses on the specific
issues for the selected topic. Moreover, data is collected from both primary and secondary
methods. In primary method of collecting information will be specific and no resemblance to any
books and journals. Information is collected by various methods through internet, newspaper,
books and journals. The analysis of the data collected will be done with the help of qualitative
and quantitative techniques. Moreover, in the present research to analyse the data qualitative
technique is used for further process.
