This dissertation examines the role of sustainable tour packages in providing benefits to local people, focusing on the impact of the tourism sector on sustainable growth and development within the communities of Manchester and Liverpool. The research investigates the role of tour operators, specifically Trailfinder, in maintaining sustainability, exploring the use of research tools like the "Research Onion" and incorporating both primary and secondary sources, including questionnaires administered to 50 respondents. The study addresses the concept of sustainability in the tourism industry, analyzes Trailfinder's strategies for planning sustainable holiday packages, identifies benefits for local residents, and assesses measures the company should consider. The dissertation includes data analysis, interpretation, and discussion of findings, culminating in conclusions and recommendations for fostering sustainable tourism practices and maximizing positive impacts on local communities. The framework covers introduction, literature review, research methodology, data analysis and interpretation, and conclusion and recommendations.
