Section 1: Review
I have improved my creative, entrepreneurial and designing skill by taking the Foundation in
Design and Creative Business course and I believe that decision of taking on this course will
have positive impact on my future career. I was able to learn number of new techniques
related to design, marketing and creative business such as development of own business
project portfolio. I have evaluated that my main strength is written and verbal communication
while I lack innovation which helps develop appealing and original business project ideas.
Creativity is needed to build successful establishments because it helps generate novel ideas
which provide competitive advantage (Pratomo and Wardani, 2021). I am not able to come
up with inventive practical and viable business project ideas and concepts as compared to my
peers. Looking back at my journey, I can say with certainty that I enjoyed every minute of
my journey on the foundation. Even when I had to create my first business project where I
was totally clueless or the burnout I faced because it was my first time doing specific
activities in my business projects, it was still an incurable and knowledgeable experience.

Section 2: Project Concept
The theme of my final major project is sustainability and my intent with the final project it to
propose the business project idea of sustainable virtual restaurant. I believe that virtual
restaurants are going to disrupt the restaurant sector just like online shopping platforms
disrupted the apparel and CPG industry. The concept of virtual restaurant involves using
ghost kitchens kitchen to offer food products for certain niche diet or international flavours.
Ghost kittens are defined as kitchen facilities with no single restaurant-branded front-of-
house which focus on optimizing of premises consumption and rapid servicing to become
economical and get profitable outcomes. Virtual restaurant industry has high growth potential
because its ability to use technology for scaling hospitality to an infinite level (Cai, Leung
and Chi, 2022). I will be presenting my idea for my virtual restaurant by developing business
project idea of sustainable virtual restaurant website. This business project is inspired from
my personal interest in digital entrepreneurship and culinary art. I will also be conducting
primary research through survey questionnaire to develop target consumer persona. I will
conduct secondary research with the help of literature review on virtual restaurant industry to
understand its evolution, future potential and sustainability. The respondents for my primary
research will be family, friends and relatives. My final design outcome will be a website of
the proposed business start-up virtual restaurant which showcases its growth potential,
creative aspects and sustainability.

My business project of developing website for sustainable virtual restaurant has the strength
of being innovative and economical and will help me showcase my entrepreneurial skills.
The weakness of my plan for developing the final design is that it is very time consuming and
may lead to decrease in quality. Time management is important part of delivering successful
results as it helps optimize time and resources to reduce wastage and enhance quality (Gregg,
2018). I will take feedback from my peers through social media and guidance from my
academic mentors to understand my mistakes so that I can focus on quality while delivering
the project in time. I will ensure timely delivery of my portfolio with successful outcome by
using Gantt chart to work with detailed schedule and using feedback from different sources
get high quality results.
